Would live with a loss if it's the game where the coach realises that having no starting perimeter defenders is **** stupid as **** and in no way playoff viable against anyone.

It would be insanely difficult to get beat as badly as the Bucks did by the Celtics at the end of last season.

But if you wanted to design a way to try and get beat that badly, I’d start by putting Malik Beasley on Jason Tatum.

It’s not really fair when they have 16 starters and the Bucks only have 3.5.

1. How Boston guards Giannis and how Giannis navigates whatever they do. Its going to be multiple guys, reaching, swatting and sliding in for charge calls. Nothing he hasnt seen before. He looks a lot more ready to deal with that than he did 10 days ago.

2. How much Dame is able to separate from Jrue and White. Im honestly more worried about White. He's really good at recovery blocks without fouling. If Dame can still draw fouls against that guy, Boston is going to have a very tough time stopping us.

3. Brook and Bobby: can they assert themselves on offense and take some of the load off our main guys? Particularly Brook. I dont think they have an answer for him.

Whose guarding KP n horford out deep csnt hsve kp taking 3 pts all night brooks will have to come out of the paint

I’d put Brook on Jrue to try and make Jrue into a high volume shooter, but they might want to save that card for a potential post season matchup.

I will guess Boston will be favored by 4 points assuming Derrick White plays.

White is expected to play. My local book has no line yet but I see it at 5.5 elsewhere.

Yeah we will hold the #1 spot if we win tomorrow with wins over both the Sixers and Celtics. Wouldn't be bad for a team that (According to the Boston media) made a huge mistake trading for Damian Lillard....lol.

A win here would be nice, but I'll be happy with a good competitive game. We're still a work in progress and we're on the road.

Definitely. I obviously want a win but I won't be hair on fire if we lose to a good team on the road. Jrue has been Jrue. Really good at times, bad other times (Monday night). But I will always love the guy.

Jrue will always be a champion in Milwaukee. He would be a little easier to root for (at least for me) if he didn't play for Boston though lol.

I won't be too upset big picture wise if we lose tomorrow, the hot takes will actually be entertaining if we do end up losing.

That surprises me. I don't see this as more than a 1 or 2pt game, but if the books want to make the Bucks +5 and +170 on the money line, as they seem to be doing, they have my attention.

I don't expect a win as others have said, we're still very much a work in progress, and still pretty bad on the defensive end.

However, if the Boston team take a dump on the floor like they have the past couple of games we could absolutely steal this one. Jrue has also not looked good in the last few games. Is this the cliff coming, or is he just slumping a little?

If we win we are the 1st seed. If we lose the season is finally over.

Seriously now it's another good test to see how bad our defense truly is right now.
We have to match them rebound wise in lineups with both KP and Holford and beat them when they only play one of them inside.

Offensively Giannis should attack KP and try to put him in foul trouble like in the past.
Good screens from the big guys to free Dame off Jrue.
Punish the wall with good ball movement/off ball movement and 3p shooting.

I hope we have at least a close game in the end and not another +22 3p night from Boston.

Should be a good litmus test of where we're at, I'm expecting Boston to put up a bunch of points and make it tough for Giannis/Dame so we'll need big games from them. Just please don't get bent over like last year. Jrue will have no less than 5 3s for sure, I would be shocked if he starts bricking them against us.

Really interested in the matchups tonight. Will Jrue guard Giannis? Brook on Jrue, Giannis on Tatum, Beasley on Porzingus? Or do we just play traditional until the playoffs.

This is definitely a Marjon/Dre game more than a Dairy Bird game, despite being in Boston.

Pretty sure Boston is going to destroy us with the kind of “defense” we’ve been playing this season. This will be a good wake-up call for Griff and the coaching staff.

I would've expected somewhere between Boston -3.5-4 because if home court is worth 3 points then you've got Boston a smidgen above that. -5.5 doesn't surprise me, I think there are probably some sharp's that have made a good chunk of change the last couple years betting against Boston who has been overvalued for a couple years. They were heavy favorites to win series they barely won (2022 vs Milwaukee and Miami, 2023 vs Philly) and heavy favorites to win series they lost (2022 vs Golden State and 2023 vs Miami)
