Have you watched the Celtics last 3 games? The other level they've been on is in the sewer.

Marc Davis officiating. He's not necessarily terrible but he loves the spotlight and this is a spotlight game.

You better tell the Hornets.

Really hope Marjon is good to go in this one, cuz this could be a great opportunity to force Griffin into understanding that he's the best wing option (other than Crowder) to throw at Tatum/Brown in a potential playoff series.

We could lose, we could lose big, it's 1 of 82 games. But the Celtics are a class above narrative is silly.

Supposedly he's playing.

I feel like Boston comes in with a lackadaisical mindset and we're up 7 after the first. 1 point lead at half for Milwaukee. Down 3 after 3. Win by 2.

I'm hoping Marjon progresses with his game to the point where he's firmly entrenched in Top 8 playoff rotation.

I don't know who will win but I do know this:

If Boston wins it will be the highlight of Sportscenter, all over sports media, multiple threads on the GB about how the Bucks are frauds.

If Milwaukee wins nobody nationally will say anything outside of a small blurb.

Regardless if we win or lose. It would be nice to come out with some energy and maybe, you know...

make shots and set some sort of tone early??

Coming out of the gate playing in mud and clanking everything early and getting down 15 or 20 isn't going to be the recipe for a win here. Which is IIRC, what we did in a lot of big games last year.

I also am a lot more confident than the past 2 seasons. With Smart, Williams and Timelord gone, I believe we matchup really well with them. Those 3 guys that are now gone, gave us all sorts of problems defensively.

I like AJ Green. I think the Nate Wolters comps are ridiculous as they're not even close to the same player. That said, every game should be a Marjon/Dre more than a Dairy Bird game. Every single one.

I hope they force Jaylen left.

In the past it didn’t always seem like we knew our opponents tendencies well enough regardless of whether we’d played them a bunch before.

Tatum questionable with an illness now.

Celtics say Jayson Tatum is now questionable vs. Bucks due to a non-COVID illness.

And there will be one basket Giannis makes that the Celtics think should've been an offensive foul that will be talked about during every ESPN segment.

How is going 2-1 in three road games being "in the sewer?" Boston's unbeaten at home and has easily won every game there. Superior roster + Mazzulla on record as wanting the 1 seed bad. I see blowout written all over this game — which is probably for the best because this roster as constructed is not beating the Celtics in a seven-game series.

Just an absolutely ridiculous thing to say this early in the season and exhibit A on why it's weird people keep falling into this "Boston is a juggernaut" trap year after year despite them getting bounced continuously in the postseason. A roster with Giannis/Dame/Middleton/Brook can, and arguably should, beat anyone.
