Wes has been instructed to lose games and showcase Poole for trade purposes. There is no other logical explanation. He can't possibly believe that Jordan in the fourth quarter over Deni (or even Shamet) gives us the best chance to win.

Even if this isn't true, I prefer to believe it because it is easier to accept than the idea that Wes (or anyone) thinks that Jordan Poole is a competent basketball player.

Really enjoyed this game, Wizards just never got a break there in the 4th.

Kuzma was great (if you ignore the take foul and the final shot) and extra special shout out to Coulibaly really showing out as a defensive wunderkind.

Happy to watch Kuz, Gafford, have good games. Even Bilal had good moments on D. It was also good to see Avdija play through sickness. Individually, each of them are making good progress.
Poole simply needs to hit more of his shots, and/or stop taking silly shots. Shooting <40% is not going to help the team win. Poole was incrementally better than last game.

I love how organizations love to talk about ACOUNTABILITY but this team has zero.. horrible desicion making time after time.

Player development? No player can evolve when there is no one to learn from..

IMO, WUJ will never be able to develop players for just this reason. He would rather go the easy route and that will never get you where you want to be.

Player development is the responsibility of the front office that need to make it clear to the coach that they want player development and accountability.

Otherwise WUJ will be WUJ and he needs to go.
