PG Celtics - Bucks Fall

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Nov 23, 2023 2:56 am

Not upset about losing. Dug a big hole early, couldn’t dig out. Made a lot of dumb mistakes and were still in it until the end.

Khris’s minutes increased but he’s still not 100%. In the first half he was deferring on open looks, which was odd. Cooked on defense but so was everyone else.

Brook had a nice game.

Giannis can play smart basketball for a game or two and then reverts back.

Dame missed shots in the first half, still damn glad we have him come playoff time. Dame needs to initiate EVERY possession. EVERY. POSSESSION.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Just wait until Jae Crowder is healthy.

Only saw the 4th so a pretty good effort from my viewpoint. Giannis having a great 3-4 game stretch then regressing back to making dumb decisions is disappointing but wholly expected

Played horrible, shots weren't falling, they couldn't miss. Bad Giannis. Lose by 3. I'll take it. Let's start AJJ or trade for Caruso tho

Not even mad honestly. Very talented but weird roster, and still trying to find its identity.

Not a terrible loss. Played like **** and had a chance to steal it at the end.

They got a huge home court role player bump tonight. 12/19 shooting from their bench including 6/10 from three.

Don't think we learnt too much other than these teams are well matched.

You know what I’m not even mad. We didn’t give up and fought all the way back to make it a one possession game.

There is some positives to take away from this game.

Dame didn't play great either. The lob to Giannis, the missed dunk. His numbers look good but he was part of the reason we were behind big early

Disaster of a game from Giannis. Showed some fight to hang in there after playing like ****. We'll be alright.

This team can be described with a few words that could be fixed with some coaching and roster management.

Clunky, old, discombobulated

Defense is gross and offense still clunky. Time in the lab required.

Celtic's had no answer for Brook. Dame caught fire to end the 4th. Made it close.

I feel Dame is about to break through. Very optimistic.

This might be the game that sends Beasley to the bench.

Boston better hope for health. That starting five is great. They are clear best in east to me.

Seems like the main guys ignore Lillard when they're playing in desperation mode. There were uncomfortably long stretches in the fourth where Dame wouldn't even touch the ball unless he grabbed a defensive rebound. We've successfully turned him into a role player.

Giannis pube game. Dame kept it close. Dre should be playing ahead of MarJon. Khris will have to be managed all year.

We played awful and that was the most fight we have had in Boston since game 5 in 2022. Something to build off of. Giannis needs to find his swagger again against those guys. Right now they own him
