If the Tatum bad games are now 23/11/4 on 17 shots, it’s going to make those games a lot easier to win lol. Dude was clearly sick as hell, but no way he was missing that game.

I posted this in the Jaylen thread, but will quote it here.

KillahGhostface wrote:Great game by Jaylen, a lot of quick attacks and passes right off of the catch. Was used really well, and him/KP did some nice work on the PnR.

Hopefully Jaylen can build on this and not try doing everything off the dribble.

I hate the guy but if we lost it wouldn’t even be his fault. Dame went into God mode and nearly pulled this out of his ass in a way only Dame could. Unless you think Mazzula should have doubled and got the ball out of his hands, there’s not much he could have done.

Milwaukee's wing defense is not good enough to guard this team and putting them in pick and rolls kills them.

Joe is like Bruce Arians in that he felt the need to overcomplicate a great offense too often. This team needs to stop slowing the game down EVERY TIME at the end.

But that Hornets loss wasn't supposed to be a loss.

If Jrue made his FTs then the Cs are on a 7-game win streak.

It was like a freak accident.

10 seconds remaining and the Celtics up by 2, all Jrue had to do was make 1 and it would've been hard for the Hornets to come back as it would be a FT shooting game.

Leave the back court out of criticism please. If they were ball heavy/shoot first guys, I’d give you an argument but I’d take those two over any other backcourt in the league. We’re beyond lucky to have them.

This still holds true...
Read on Twitter

Giannis with a 7/20 for only 21 pts after going 20/23 for 42 pts against Washington. We know how to defend that bagless man. Lopez kept them in the game then Lillard with the late flourish. Not enough though.

Cs were not lucky.

The Celtics took care of business for 3 quarters.

It's only natural that the Bucks would make some sort of a run.

If the Celtics were not good for 3 quarters then this would've been a different story.

We really only "took care of business" in the first. We only outscored them by a total of 3 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, then got outscored by 12 in the final Q.

A shout out to Dame for his assist with his Tyrese Maxey-like 27 on 24 shots.

I don't know about you guys, but I prefer wins like this.

The Cs will face hard times in the playoffs, there will be games similar to this and to that Hornets game.

If the Cs can find ways to get a win when it's ugly, that's championship level basketball.

Lopez with at least 17 fouls tonight lol

Like always that dude gets away with murder on both ends and still has the audacity to complain on every second possession.

My favourite was him pushing a Celtic out of the way to score a layup.

That was a fake comeback, which everyone always screams about the Celtics. It was a comfortable win, the last few minutes mean nothing IMO.

Chef’s kiss game from Jaylen. 26 pts on 10/16 shooting but more importantly 8 assists to just 1 turnover which was a bs makeup travel call. Vote goes to him

The 2023 NBA champs outscored their competition by an average of 3.4 points per game last season. You can't win every game by 48. That's just not how it works.

Lucky to get the win.

Celtics still struggling to close out games and still blow leads.

Stagnant offense where everyone stands around watching one guy work eventually bites you in the ass and IMO, it's what causes the Celtics to blow leads.
A good coach fixes that issue......but that's not what the Celtics have.

Dame, my ass. The refs got them back in the game.

I guess we aren't missing our Giannis-stopper after all. He had 40 on 70% shooting against Dallas by the way.
