We have the talent, but every year in the playoffs we blow too many games against inferior teams, or just fail to execute competent offense down the stretch. They aren't doing a good job of proving that's behind them, so I have no faith in them.

The Bucks defense is too pathetic to win a championship, which is obvious to anyone with any sense.

Yet you bring up the Heat and Wolves who have their own flaws.

Thinking either of them are title contenders and the Celtics aren’t is just that hilarious.

Like seriously dude. Are you posting that BS for attention?

It’s really the Nuggets to lose, anyone else is a dark horse, but any of those 3 teams beat us in a 7 game series and maybe Nurse's Sixers as well. The team lacks character.

The only teams I will be worrying about are the Bucks and the Nuggets

All things being equal (& injuries not interfering) the Nuggets should be unbeatable.

I genuinely think the Celtics are the best team in the east, and, for the playoffs, beyond that it doesn´t really matter.

The Celtics overcame the loss of Grant Williams and defended Giannis.

Porzingis greatly makes up the size gap between the teams. With him and Horford together, Boston's just about as big as Milwaukee. The Celtics still gave up a lot of offensive rebounds tonight though.

Brown and Porzingis work really well together.

Holiday was the only Celtic who played who wasn't in double digits.

The bench was super-efficient.

Yeah can't believe we could stop Giannis even without Grant.
Giannis scored 40 on 70% shooting against the Mavs by the way.

Wolves are one of those teams that have to prove it. It's early in the season so a lot can change. Heat has a chance to do what they've been doing but defintely don't see them winning it all in any case.

Wolves are good but they've been really lucky with opposing stars constantly sitting games against them.

The Wolves best player is like 22 and hasn’t even got his efficiency sorted in the regular season.

KAT is a complete mental midget especially in playoffs and Gobert has multiple series where he has been abused defensively by his lack of switch ability.

Just absurd for anyone to suggest they are a bigger contender than the Celtics.

Especially considering they are in the West. I’d much rather bet that OKC would win the West before them.

Honestly, I was impressed at how effective JRue was at disrupting Giannis’ drives, at Porzingas’ ability to alter his finish and with Tatum’s new found ability to match him physically to some degree in the paint. We were way better at defending him than in past. I wasn’t sure we would be able to handle him.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

They literally beat us last year and went to the finals and have been in 2 of the last 4 finals.... With a bit of injury luck maybe they'd have another ring.

Heat reaching the finals was more on the Celtics than the Heat.

The Cs were just a flawed team last season.
