Khris is putting up his second highest FG% of his career even with a very bad start from 3. If you look at his per 36, he's averaging just as many points as he has in 4 of the past 5 seasons, is averaging the second most assists of his career, and the most rebounds of his career. His per 36 is basically 22/7/7. As long as he doesnt have any setbacks, it appears that he is headed for a very good season.

So to answer your question: We could DEFINITELY get something worthwhile for Khris, it's just a question of whether that package is better than what i listed above combined with the loss of continuity.

Think he’s got a very bad knee, and the rest of the league is aware as well. He can’t play 36.

Broken record from a guy who watched the 1980’s teams, but he’s in that Lanier or 1987 Moncrief zone now.

In 1986-87, Sid’s minutes dropped from 35 to 25. And games played fell off a cliff. Never came back.

With Lanier, he was playing 37mpg for Detroit, and promptly dropped to 28 mpg with the Bucks.

Sooner we move Khris to 6th man, coming in at the 6 minute mark of Q1, the better

Khris can’t move like he could, why don’t we play him at the 4? Would love to see:

Dame
AJJ
Beauchamp
Khris
Giannis

Defensively much quicker and still plenty of firepower.

I don't know if there is a trade market for Khris and the team won't want to do it but I'd move him for any 3&D player. Otherwise the suggested bring him off the bench at 6mins when Giannis goes out is the right move.

Coming in to last night's game, Khris was holding opponents to 38% shooting.

Khris got roasted numerous times in last night's game, but locked down Tatum during the Bucks comeback.

As usual, talks of his demise remain premature.

We're not getting off to slow starts because of Khris, so the focus should be on Beasley.

Wright to the Bucks

No need to rush this though, wait until December 15. Then we can move other players we won't need if we had Wright, like Beasley and Payne. Also, Wright is presently injured.

Nets In: Portis, Beasley or Crowder
Blazers in: Oladipo, 3 2nds (2 from Houston, 1 from the Bucks)
Houston in: Pat
Bucks in: Thybulle, Finney-Smith

I would prefer to send out Crowder out oover Beasley and then sign Darius Bazely with the open roster spot.

Would not be a trade that would be a fan favorite but if the Bucks need to get through Boston in a 7 game series...

Lillard | Payne
Thybulle | Beasley | AJJ | Green
Middleton | Beauchamp | Livingston
Giannis | Finney-Smith | Thanasis
Lopez | Bazely | Lopez
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

I have given Beasley alot of crap, and I maintain he's still better suited for a role off the bench to help provide scoring to that unit. But he has been solid for the most part. Crowder & MarJon are pretty easily our two worst players so far this year per Net Rating(I didn't realize how bad MarJon's DRTG was). I still have hope MarJon can develop but the Bucks desperately need a wing to step up(AJJ?), trade for one, or both.

I agree he's been really good, but if we get Wright, we don't really need Payne, so he could become part of a larger deal. Wright is a combo guard and a serious defender who fits this system perfectly, and has played in it before.

Marjon's slightly negative net rating is more about the units he's played in and sample size than any poor play by him.

Also, Brooks net rating is significantly worse than Marjons.

I'd buy that if the other key reserves were also that low. But Bobby & Payne are near the the top of our rotation players in net rating.

Our rotation guys in terms of Net Rating
Khris 11.9
Bobby 9.1
Payne 7.1
AJJ 5.5
Giannis 3.7
Beasley 2.2
Pat 1.3
Brook 0.2
Dame -1.2
MarJon -2.7
Crowder -10.3

A majority of Beasley’s minutes are when he gets to be out there with the Bucks best four players at the start of both halves and usually end of the game during Dame Time.

I like to see Marjon or Dre’s net rating if they got that luxury and amount of minutes.

On the flip side a majority of MarJon minutes have come against the backup of other teams. Beasley has been taking on tougher assignments than MarJon.

Teams stagger their starters. Marjon always guards the oppositions best perimeter player.

And usually when that player is already nice and comfortable from getting minutes against the defenseless starting unit.

Marjon was doing a very good job staying in front of Brown last night but Brown was sinking difficult shots because he was already warmed up from torching the starters.
