The game today is tailor made for Magic, I can't even imagine what he or Bird would be like in today's game.
Like Jokic taken to another level.

Wow, take a break here. No one is on another level of current jokic, even you want to give them benefit of doubt of adapting and evolving..

Magic, better leader and will make any offense you give him work. His scoring is much more reliable than KG as well, IMO

I’ve seen jokic and I’ve seen a lot of other guys, there are guys on a different level than him.

Bird would be on another level compared to Jokic, yes. Very different level, indeed...
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

No he wouldn't. He was shorter, not the same level of passer and CONSIDERABLY less effective at finishing on the interior/scoring in the post. Bird was very good, and he'd look fantastic in this era, but he had his issues just like any other player.

I think you misunderstood Jaivl's point.

I read this as Jaivl saying different level, but meaning different level, worse.

Same. I also would have them on different levels, but also believe most players who peaked did peak in the era most suitable for them.

Re: Todays League: KG or Magic
As great as KG is I would take Magic here.
Magic shooting splits in the last 4 seasons is actually better than any season of Lebron.
267/772 from 3 (34.5%) at 2.89 attempts a game
1771/1974 from the FT (89.7%) at 7.3 attempts a game
He’d definitely challenge Jokic for best offensive player in the league and at that size too hard to pass up.
His skill set to me would actually scale higher than KG’s.
There’s only players like Jordan or Jokic and obviously Lebron that I would start with today.
Playing 4/5 out with Magic would bring in unbelievable results with all the space today.
Giannis to me is flat out better than KG but you cannot build a whole system from just himself.
Because of heliocentric methods I would give Magic an uptick in usage to enhance his GOAT like level of offensive production.

Li WenWen is the GOAT

Is entirely possible. Most usage for those phrases would go the other way, but if he meant it the reverse, then that makes more sense, for sure.

Not to speak for poster Jaivl but
My impression was the intention behind their comment was facetious - hence the unorthodox usage of terms.
