Tightness. I'm going with he just needs some massage therapy, and he'll be good to go next game.

Missed everything but the last five minutes. What happened to Khris?

Giannis "should've sat"/Flu-be game is still a 29/7/2/3/1 on great efficiency. He was definitely frustrating to watch but seems to make slow strides. Made some nice passes, no 3s, I didn't see a charge. I could see him ending the season on a five year low for 3s and charges.

The crowd can tell when they're sleep walking through the game and playing lazy/uninspired basketball.

Tough to get emotionally invested into what we just watched unless you're one of us.

A win is a win, but man that ending was rough.

Why not both?

I've defended Patty C in the past, but damn was he useless tonight.

He got cooked on 2 of the most important end game possessions. Like the guy was completely by him twice in a row. In April it will be 5 possessions in a row.

A crowd can only yell "DE-FENSE" so many times when the other team scores before they even get the second syllable out.

His offensive processing on ball has gotten much better. That's great.

He is hardly moving off ball on either offense or defense. I thought he was killing us on defense tonight. He switches up top and then gives up on the rest of the possession. Never tries to switch up again to help the guard who just got crossmatched on a wing/big and when a shot goes up, he is nowhere near a boxout or rebound. Over and over again, the guy he switches off of is scoring or the guy he switches onto is getting an offensive rebound or wide open following an offensive rebound. It's whatever because he was sick and it's the Wizards but he's been doing it all season.

Scheme or not, Giannis has had consistently poor effort and focus on defense. Similarly to offense, it seems like he only has energy when he's on ball and is just floating otherwise.

is loss of Jrue or our defensive scheme the main reason for this very weak perimeter defense? We need to identify the proportion of this. If it is Jrue, we need Caruso. If it is mainly the scheme, we don’t want to waste our resources on a trade.
