I’m just saying if you watch a game without any bias you’ll see many possessions like that. It happens. I’m just asking why point that out in a game like this when everyone played well? Including siakam

You obviously have not rewatched the play. The controller unplugged doesn't happen every game.

Bro get over it. It was one possession in a game where we win by 13. Can you admit that other than that one play pascal played well?

Sorry but this is an egregious situation

4th quarter, and the star's defense is jumping past the shooter, then walking away from the play towards halfcourt with 4 left on shot clock

doesn't box out his man, doesnt guard anyone actually, literally gives up on the play

and the guy who he doesnt box out gets a free rebound putback

it took scottie being a **** beast to save that play

that is your star, leader and guy telling the media he thinks hes one of the best in the game at his position

Siakam passed the ball to Scottie in low post with Caruso on him, Scottie just passed it right back. Scottie gotta recognize advantage when there is one

Caruso's defence in the post was excellent during that horrific loss earlier this season. He's like prime Lowry in that he can give up 5 inches in the post and is still better than someone closer in height. In Lowry's case it was core (ass) strength, whereas with Caruso it's that if the ball is near him he might get a hand on it.

I'm not gonna pretend I didn't post on here that we should trade him for Nicolas Batum or whatever the hell I said back in 2013, but it will be a nice day when his jersey is retired.

He worked his ass off on his game, never did anything to embarrass us off the court (hard for millionaires!) and with the help of some doctors working on Kawhi's knee (who we should honour in a small but tasteful ceremony on like the 10th anniversary of the title) we got a title in the deal.

Problem is the Bulls would never do a Lavine for Siakam swap other than dumping Lavine's contract.. Only way we could pull that off is if another team(or teams) get involved. Never really seen masai pull off multiple team deals unless i'm mistaken.. Hard enough for him to get a deal done with one team not named San Antonio. Lavine for Siakam Swap would make us miles better no doubt with fit alone.

100% the Raptors would need to send Pascal to 3rd team that send assets to Bulls and Lavine comes to Raptors

Sorry, we are still trying to trade Siakam?

If we get a explosive SG that is a better fit then yes, Lavine is a 3 level explosive SG which is something this team badly needs. Moving out Siakam and replacing him with Lavine allows Darko to keep Poeltl in games for longer periods.

If the raps go after Lavine it's with GTJ not Pascal lol lol, that's noteven faboyism, that's just based on all of mgmts recent decisions.

Shams tweeted Lillard to the Raps & Pascal wasn't in that deal, you expect us to go after Lavine with Pascal? That doesn't add up.

The Lakers & sac, and possibly NY, are the teams that media said would be interested, and those teams have guys like rui, Kevin Huerter, monk.

Someone tell Demar that Siakam needed to pad his stats because he did not get his 25 plus shots tonight because Bulls were packing the paint with a true 7 footer inside.

Demar really had no choice because Masai was there, you know he cannot stand him for trading him away

And yet an older Siakam wants more money and term.

It got a bit dicey midway through the 4th when the bench allowed a bit of a run then the starters checked in and were just going through the motions, but the game never felt in doubt. Just a good win against a bad team. I'll take it.

Big contributions from all of our top 7 tonight, but an extra shout-out goes to Achiuwa for a very good all-around game. Even with a few sloppy passes and a questionable drive or two, he was very impactful in his 18 minutes as he put up 8/7/4/3. I'd love it if he can find some consistency in his game again because he makes us much better when his 15-20 minutes aren't full of questionable decisions.

14 assists in the last 3 games. Is the playmaking 5 Darko envisioned actually starting to come to fruition?

I haven't given up hope on Achiuwa. I still see a lot of potential in his game if he can be reeled in a bit. His defence has always been very good and he shows flashes on the offensive end where you can tell he actually does have a feel for the game if you give him a definitive role. He's averaging almost 3 more assists per36 so far this season than in his first 3 seasons.

Darko has made him more of a playermaker this year. 2.2APG in 20mpg before tonight.

HAHA…. Bulls are not giving you Lavine for Gary who no zero value right now. Raptors would need to send Pascal to the Pacers/Orlando or Hawks who would send picks to the Bulls . Picks that the Raptors do not have

Beal is 30 years old and not as explosive. Teams like Charotte/Lakers/Heat are all interested . So your not getting him for crazy Gary and his garbage hot/cold shooting on an expiring contract/

We don't need to trade Pascal to get Lavine! Haha, oh my the disrespect is real. Also, Pascal is a two way player, and has more value than Lavine.

Reports say the heat aren't interested, and hey, go build a trade with the Lakers or Charlotte for Lavine, how does that look?

Do you have a rationale for that comment? Seems totally baseless considering everyone on this board screaming that this team needs a flat out scorer. What would we be missing?

Return to Toronto Raptors
