I like it, it's a classy move by Pop but you're also dealing with basically teenagers (fans). You tell them to stop doing something, they'll do it more

Re: Around the NBA - 23-24
I think booing at the FT line is fine. I get that Spurs fans might be salty that Kawhi wanted to leave, but he did help them get a championship. If Booker asked for a trade after he helped the Suns win a championship I don't think I could be upset at him.
Also... Nuggets bout to lose to the Magic.

IMO Pop was out of line. Fans pay their hard earned money and booing is allowed and I can't blame the fans at all. Kawhi basically forced his way out of that organization so they have a right to boo him.
Spurs off to a horrible start Pop is lucky he isn't your average NBA coach or he would be on the hot seat.

So is it Josh Giddey trying to ruin his career or they're trying to ruin his career?

Oklahoma is a lawless place. I'm sure he'll probably be fine legally, because he's got money.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Nuggets are now 10-6 (hmm looks familiar) and are 1-4 in their last 5 (5-5 over the last 10). But Jamal Murray has been out for the past 7 games.

Its almost as if it were hard to win in the NBA when your star player(s) out injured...

Are the Wolves legit?
I hope they can knock out GS or the Nuggets this year in the playoffs. Cuz we historically own them, and there's no way Booker is losing to Towns. He regularly outplays Ant, too (I know Edwards has mostly been a young-in vs. Book, but still).
The West is loaded this year.
I hope GS burns down (more suspensions, less dancing from Steph, more Klay taking 25 shots)

I'm curious too. I would live to play the Wolves when they are rested and maybe at their place. But I don't think any team in the west could beat us if we were completely healthy.
The teams that could have a chance maybe are the Clippers is Harden ever gets back to any semblance of his old self and they are healthy, Denver obviously, and maybe the Pelicans and Thunder (who have the best pt differential). Houston is an interesting team to watch, but I see them as a solid regular season team but probably won't be able to win a playoff round given their youth and their vets (FVV and Brooks) are obviously not the guys that are going to make the difference in a hard fought playoff matchup.

Yeah plus people tend to ignore that even a 60 win team loses 25% of their games. Plus with how many 3s get shot these days variance is even higher, it's not uncommon for a bad team to beat a great team because one team was especially hot or cold.Bogyo wrote:lilfishi22 wrote:Nuggets are now 10-6 (hmm looks familiar) and are 1-4 in their last 5 (5-5 over the last 10). LOL yeah, I thought our win vs Knicks was surprising but that is another level.

They cost me a three team parlay win of 550. I’m never relying on Clippers again. Idiots. Had an extra day off over Nuggets, Den missing 3 starts including Jokic he’s their entire team yet they lose by nearly double digits. Sometimes I wonder if nba games are truly fixed. Maybe Vegas lost a ton of money last week and need to make it up.

Re: Around the NBA - 23-24
last night while getting ready for sleep, i was on reddit and apparently the clips/nugs game had quite a few hilarious moments, including an Russ's airball FT, Jordan doing some kind of Hakeem move in the post, and somebody calling Russ westbrick and pissing him off.

Clips aint working cause their team leadership is bad. 2 of the top 4 are quiet/passive, 1 is loud but making idiotic plays and the 4th doesn't seem to care half the time.

It also doesn't help that Harden and Westbrook simply aren't very good.handsome salary wrote:Clips aint working cause their team leadership is bad. 2 of the top 4 are quiet/passive, 1 is loud but making idiotic plays and the 4th doesn't seem to care half the time.
That team is more name than actual game.

Give me Suns vs Kings in IST please. That winner by Monk against GSW was crazy. First need to kick Lakers ass though.
