Honestly, even setting aside the off court stuff, I’m not sure I like Giddey’s fit basketball wise on this Thunder team. SGA/Chet/Jalen is the core, moving forward they’d be better off with a two way wing that can shoot instead of Giddey imo. Someone like OG obviously would be perfect

Yeah, the kid diddler does all the little things but I agree that you want spacing around SGA and Chet so they can work. OG is probably the right move and they can throw a ton of picks at Toronto to make it happen.

Just saw Maxey at over 40 minutes tonight. He was already at 38.4 per game going in. Full minute more than anyone else in the league. Wonder if he can hold up doing that

Chet is ridiculously good for a guy that has played 16 NBA games. 2.3 blocks with great defense overall while averaging 18.1 PPG with splits of 56/44/88.

Does Toronto give up their 2019 title because Nurse rode guys hard? The minutes played stuff is overrated. If you’ve got a star, and are a contender, ride that guy.

Agreed. Kidd had Giannis and Khris playing insane minutes and they were fine. Zero problems with the young guys getting big minutes, that was the norm for years. Thibs got as much out of those Bulls as he possibly could.

Did Nurse ride the guys hard that year? From what I remember that was the origination of load management with Kawhi.

I would keep an eye on Maxey’s efficiency the back half of the year

Kawhi and Lowry averaged 34, Siakam 32. Kawhi played 60 games, Lowry 65, Siakam 80

And we win that damn series if we traded for Gasol and not Mirotic.

Seemed like such a no brainer trade for Mirotic. But Gasol just killed us.

And before any "Gasol didn't do nothing" people enter the chat, guy played 31.6mpg, 8.5ppg, 7.2rpg, 3.7apg and was a huge part of the wall against Giannis. Former DPOY.

So many titles won at the trade deadline. Not sure if Horst can make it happen this year, with minimal assets.

I mean if we make Bobby available that’d be one of the better assets we’d have put on the table at the deadline.

Seems like we already did last year for FVV and Toronto passed which they assuredly regret.

Goodness the Bulls are depressing to watch. They're a clone of the Monta/Jennings era Bucks where the sole goal was to struggle to enough wins for an 8 seed.

That Jalen Johnson injury killed the Hawks tonight. I never thought he had the discipline to get this good, but he's been awesome this year.
