Watching Bridges/Rozier take turns stat padding at the end was sad.

This team is nothing without LaMelo running the show.

We got the benefit of the whistle tonight, but was impressed with some guys on your team. Brandon Miller got so much undue slander for his game/being picked over Scoot, so I'm glad he played well tonight, looks like a legit #1 option to me in the future. Kinda Paul George-ish maybe with less defense/athleticism and better offense? And Mark Williams looks huge out there, think once he plays another year or two he's going to be a consistent problem and he's already a beast. Hope LaMelo isn't out long.

It's crazy how easy the game comes to this kid. He just hooping and doing it while still playing team ball.

He could have easily padded his stats at the end like Bridges and Rozier but he didn't. This kid is a team first player. Without LaMelo he should probably handle the ball a lot more in these next few games or however long LaMelo is out.

Clifford seemed pretty heated in post game presser.
- Said offense was good enough to win.
- Defense wasn't said some guys aren't playing on that end well enough and some are
- Also, said he is tired of this team missing free throws

Overall not having LaMelo hurt, he is the guy that really can get us back into games quick with his 3 ball and we lacked that. Although I thought we were better at hanging in there until about the 6 min mark when Orlando took over the game for good.

We were up 9 at one point in the first half and we didn't capitalize. We are awful at building a lead, hence why we are always playing from behind. We really could have gotten that to 15+ if we didn't just stop playing good basketball for that stretch. Instead we end the half down 4 pts. Lost opportunity.

yeah this is year 8 now of this ****, borrego said the same things

at some point “i can’t get them to play defense” isn’t an excuse. 8 years is an eternity in the NBA. fugging fix it!

Clifford should be throwing chairs in the presser over Lamelo not being protected by the refs. Veins should be popping out of his forehead. Why isn’t this organization protecting their star it’s ludicrous

Nobody cares about Charlotte Nationally.

You have to hire a HC who can change the culture and speak up.

Doc Rivers, Mike Dantoni coaches like that who aren't afraid to speak up for their players.

Defense and want to is on the players. Coaches can't give a knute rockne speech every night to professional athletes.

Yeah, Clifford says the same things after every game.

We need a new coach.

But I think it's also apparent that our players don't care about defense. Need to trade about half of them and get some veterans.

Lets just hope the Lamelo injury is a one month injury and not a season ending one. It looked similar to last year's and it is the same foot.

Our luck SUCKS Hornets can't catch a break.

When he was having multiple ankle injuries last year, I stated on this board that it was a bad sign. Ankles are weakened with multiple injuries. He’s wearing braces this season which helps but didn’t and won’t prevent another one. Praying this is not chronic.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

And yes for the 100th + time, CLIFFORD NEEDS TO BE FIRED! MITCH NEEDS TO BE FIRED!

Need new leadership in both to begin sooner than later. It takes time for a new regime to plan strategy and execute changes (which should include trades before deadline). A new coach needs time to connect and evaluate players while managing the transition in season.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Supposedly he was NOT wearing braces as previously thought. He was taped up.

didnt Curry start his career with chronic ankle injuries? thats why his first extension contract was a bit of a bargain.

can only hope for a turn around like that

Passing on both Eason and Thybulle the last two years is so bonkers.

Does he know he's the head coach and is very much responsible for this consistently being the issue?
