It only looks like a wild take because Suggs hasn't gotten to that level.

I think you also battled me on me wanting to trade multiple draft picks to move up for Luka.

We all have swing and misses (I don't necessarily think Suggs is a miss yet but the trade value was def off  ) but I have never been shy of trying to trade up in the draft if I believe that player can be a star.

At the end of the day its a star driven league.

you also used to get on me for wanting to trade up for tatum and draft him over josh jackson and frank :D

but yes we all have our swings and misses. all in fun. and i agree it is a star driven league. hopefully we can get a star next to brunson or we will be wasting his prime like we did to melo

I never wanted to trade up for Frank though. I never viewed him as a star and always a good glue guy that could maybe develop into a really solid complimentary piece to a good team.

Fair enough, I never really did much diving into Tatum because I thought we needed a guard. Tatum has turned out to be a stud but he was never on the board for us. Our battles we DSJ and Frank. Which I guess you outlasted me on that end  but neither were good picks.

yeah but you wanted to draft josh jackson over tatum tho. it wasn't really about guards cause you would've taken josh jackson even when he was never going to be on the board for us. i even remember telling you boston is making the right decision taking tatum over him and you thought i was bugging. you just never really liked tatum in the draft. i remember clearly

and yea i guess i won the dsj vs frank war. probably the most useless war on this board tbh

there was a time that westbrook was pretty much the best player to watch in the league. he was my favorite. even though it wasn't always efficient, the amount of effort he played with was spectacular. i don't know if anyone has ever played harder. i could see why chanel loves him. but he's semi-terrible now. no 2 ways about it. and semi might be kind.

they say it's not serious. it'll be interesting to see if he's healthy at that time if can get through 3 rounds of the playoffs. that's when guys are really dealing with a lot of wear and tear.

all things considering I'd rather just hold onto our assets for a better deal and just keep randle. at least with randle here we can flip melo sht when he folds in the playoffs. who are we going to bully when pandemic p chokes?

i doubt kp will last. if hes having problems this early then its not a good look. for the celtics its going to come down to if jrue holiday is a bigger upgrade over marcus smart with the same roster as last year basically

even if he does. i don't think he'll make it through the playoffs. it's too physical and intense.

they still have enough without him. jrue is better than smart in every way.

Look at informant sham trying to sow the seeds of dissension, I guess the Brooklyn way is snitchin now. Just disgusting behavior, I expect nothing else from someone that wanted Isass _k_r and DeRozan.

Nah sham, that's a loss, cause you know as well as I know they'd be getting that extension prepped for Demar. At least the F0urnier experience is just about over and Nerlens is gone.

to be fair a derozan extension probably saves us from the josh hart and ddv contracts. those contracts might be unmoveable unless picks are attached

DeMar at $40 million per at 35 yrs old? Hart is ass but he's 28, there's a sucker out there for him (other than us).

Return to New York Knicks
