He never dunked before. It was a running joke for quite a while in the team. They even had a competition between I think Bledsoe or Jrue and Mids on who would dunk more during the season.

At the very least, his first NBA gig should have been with a young/rebuilding team where he could take his lumps and learn on the job. The coaching has crippled this team.
