Re: PG Heat - Win
If you want to be optimistic, this was a lot closer to a sensible offensive design tonight. We shot like ****, and wasted a half dozen possessions doing dumb crap, but Dame and Middleton ran the show, we screened a ton, hammered them inside, and we even tried delivering Giannis the ball moving towards the hoop and inside the arc.

I'm officially off the Marjon wagon. He's like Giannis without the body and coming into the league 4 years later.

Yep. Still hear about the Bucks in the McDonald's open against Russia?. This was in 86 or 87.ACGB wrote:You gotta win the first in-season tournament. It might be lame now but in 20 years it will be bragging rights.

Remember who won the first Super Bowl ever? You know what that trophy is now called? Looking forward to years of teams celebrating winning the Adrian Griffin Trophy.

The training camp interviews where they talked about MarJon winning the 1 on 1 stuff two days a row - with Giannis and Dame playing - seems hilarious now lol. Either that was straight cap or Giannis/Dame were zooted during training camp.

beasleys been great for weeks. use a different comp
Beasley, as we knew before the games started, can shoot but is very poor at almost everything else. He's the perfect comp and he's a microcosm of everything that is fundamentally wrong with this team. He, not Bango, should be our mascot, and there are times that this nearly comes to fruition when he dances (which i actually like).
im going to stick to the numbers that at this point are becoming obvious. as his numbers on and off the court and his net rating spikes im going to escalate my displeasure to the peanut gallery about it as well.
and obviously hes been a total flamethrower on offense. im talking specifically about his defense in this stupid scheme fwiw
yeah.. i really dont know what to say if you think Beasley should play significant minutes on a team with title aspirations. i'm just going to silently hope that Horst understands where his priorities should be and leave it at that.

Always good to beat these floppers and whiners. Spo is no genius coach; he’s just figured out how to slip through the cracks in NBA officiating with non-basketball crap.

Piling on Marjon, the ball is so low when he starts his shooting motion and it takes forever to get it over his head. Never will be effective unless he’s taking wide open shots.

Knicks Monday or Tuesday and then either Indy or Boston.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: PG Heat - Win
give Marjon a break. terrible game by him but he's a 2nd year player, still learning the ropes, and playing on the road in a playoff atmosphere. he's expected to struggle in that situation.
Andre, on the other hand....needs more playing time.

i dont know what to say if you want to pick on a player on the minimum with a 70% ts% who has a dynamically better net rating than giannis, dame, brook or any other starter on the team besides middleton.
like at what point do you back off and wait until he stops killing it before he returns as your scapegoat of choice?

Re: PG Heat - Win
Anyone know bucks defensive rating in the 4th/clutch? They seem to play much better... Crunch time, teams slow it down and iso ball... Team seems to lock in and play better.
More importantly the offense is just absolutely dominant down the stretch. Dame seems to get where ever at will and will always make the right read. Theyre now one of the best free throw shooting teams with dame.

Re: PG Heat - Win
It looks like now we have two great offensive weapons in Beasley and Middleton that are both complete liabilities on D. They can make the offense sing (Beas in iso, Midds in iso and feeding others), but they get hunted on D.
Right now it's taking the good with the bad, but not sure how long this holds up.

While long term it's a fair concern, he's not a player you can really complain about much since his blow up in Toronto.

That ever so simple solution of don’t play them at the same time, and especially not all three with Lillard, yet here we are…
