Shai has been insane, that's taking into account his 2/16 game against Denver. Jokic, SGA, Embiid. MVP leaders ATM.

I feel winning both will bring Curry back to the discussion. Still #3 and #4 favorite teams to win the west according to yahoo odds

I really hope Jokic decides to play into his late 30s. His game could be All-NBA/MVP level at age 36-39. Guy is insane.

nah, first of all Yahoo or not I think it's very unlikely this Warriors team is going to stat racking up wins, they're too old and the West is just nuts.

secondly, Curry started red hot but he has since cooled off considerably. yes, he's still scoring alot (and well) because he's Steph Curry..but he's a PG who has 65 assists and 60 Turnovers total over 16 games. that won't cut it..
he is also averging career low in steals and sujectively I think from what i've seen the Warriors (not that much tbh), he's defense has been pretty suspect

32\5\4 on Curry's regular splits (just about) is indeed incredible but with 4 To's and with how amazing the tier above him has been, I honestly don't see him moving much up the ladder even if the Dubs go on winning ways and I doubt that they will.
yeah, Dray suspended 5 games hurt them alot but I really struggle to see this team even sniffing HCA.

on paper, the new look Clippers have a better shot of turning their season around imo. maybe they'll figure it out? their talent is unreal and undeniable and even with all the embrassments they still have like the 5th best defense so far. there's no reason for a team fielding PG13, KL, Harden etc. to be below avg offensively, I have a feeling they'll work it out but that's beside the point I guess :)

jokic is big, but he does shoot midrangers. i am guessing now, but I wouldn't be surprised he's more precise there than lot of top guards, not to mention floaters

No question about it. I'm reasonably sure he leads the floater list, if you factor in volume and efficiency, I would be shocked if he doesn't blow everyone else out of the water (never mind simply leading). Mid range that's a little bit different, he is excellent at that too, but doesn't take as many.

I can only see it if he is chasing all time records (championships goat status). If not I could see him retire early

This is a basic inbound play that I was thought by my coach when I was 13. Every single basketball coach in Serbia teaches his kid groups these inbound plays and they were the first plays that we were taught.

Yes, but the man waived off the play call from the bench, called the play on the go with Spurs players all around him, hearing him, seeing him pointing to the participants what to do, and the play gets executed flawlessly.
This shouldn't be possible.

Yeah, he does that regularly. Look at this, for example:

This is fascinating, he treats the game like an engineering problem and he masters the parameters and variations within the plays....
Every player does that to some some extent, but it's limited to the players own play and domain, he does it on the whole court and directs his teammates to solve the problem.

There was an interview for two Serbian reporters who are the only guys to whom he voluntarily talks, where he said that he knows almost all the plays of the opposing teams, while some of his teammates don't even know Denver's plays.

Is it too soon to think about the fact that if he really wanted to (and I doubt that he will) - he could probably be an ATG coach as well?
immense basketball I.Q (and experience, by the time he retires), great leadership, great role model as a pro and a real charachter too! he could be a good one probably if he decided to go in that direction...don't u think?
