I’d think the Knicks could get an actual first for Quickley.
I agree, but the Bucks could get an actual 1st for Bobby.

The Philadelphia 76ers are currently 12-6 and sit fourth in the Eastern Conference. This team's start to the season has been pleasantly surprising and even with the loss of last season's assist leader, James Harden, the team appears to be better. One of the key reasons this is the case is due to the new head coach Nick Nurse.
Nick Nurse has been a revelation and it is not just his utilization of unique lineups. Nurse has been challenging defenses by having all five players on the floor bring the ball up to show different looks. By using every player to get into different offensive sets, the unpredictability in this offense has been its' best asset.

I got the years mixed up. He was 6th in 2022. Point still stands.
Oh, so he ranked higher BEFORE he got his contract and started losing his athleticism?

The longer the Bucks wait to give him a lead assistant to replace Stotts the more I think something might be going on there too.

That's one way to look at it, it might just be its pretty hard to bring in a head assistant during the RS for a HC who already pushed the last guy out. I think they're good sticking with Prunty, AG isn't going to accept being "undermined" by anybody else.

Ron Swanson wrote:Completely disagree. Any trade involving the Top-4 is strictly off-limits until a new coaching staff comes in, but Bobby, Pat, Marjon, etc. aren't core pieces for this 1-2 year window. You have to make the best of a bad situation with Griff and at least bring in a couple veteran switchable guys that have the potential to improve the perimeter defense. The people wanting this to get as bad as possible and punt the season just for the impossibly miniscule chance that he's fired by January are crazy. It's just not happening.

It feels like you are the one suggesting punting the season. You admit it's unrealistic we fire AG this year. The current core isn't working with AG. So you want both until next year?
Yeah hopefully he figures it out but historical odds say he likely won't. What's the hit rate of even a rotation player picked after 20? Like 15-20%? It might not even be that high. I get the appeal that if you do actually hit you get a cost controlled asset but personally I would trade every 1st for a vet if I was a GM of a contender.BucksFanSD wrote:I have cooled off MarJon a lot since Week 2 and 3 of the season. I am noticing a trend such as last season where he slowly loses his confidence and his ability to make solid decisions compared to earlier season games. This is an odd thing with him and he just doesn't seem dependable. You don't see that from AJJ though, which is good. I hope somehow MarJon gets his lightning back.
