0 argument for top 10

Jokic
Giannis
Embiid
Luka
Kd
Steph
Bron
Ad
Tatum
Jimmy
Booker
Sga

is at least 11 clearly better altho Jimmy has started slow. Healthy Kawhi is obviously better too but maybe hes cooked. Dame from last season is better but new system and team now

There are other players who ppl will prolly have to uncomfortably at least consider over Pippen too. His defense would still be incredible today if not better. But his offense would age HORRIBLY and it wasnt an era specific thing nothing about his skillset suggest his offense would be good today even w/ lax defensive rules

Theres a chance hes not COMFORTABLY the best Scottie in the league in 2024.....w/ how Barnes is playing. Far higher chance Pippen is grouped in a tier w/ Barnes and Siakam than actual superstars

Hard for me to envision Pippen being as well-regarded in 2024 as he was 30 years prior. High-end defender, that goes without saying. Strong wing rebounder, but his shooting deficiencies limit his overall value. Dangerous transition player, though. Tons and tons of talent in the league right now.

I think probably in that 8-12 range makes some sense, depending on exactly how well you think his scoring would translate into today's league.

Honestly 1994 Pippen is pretty overrated.

He finished third in MVP voting ahead of Shaq and Stockton, even though both of them finished ahead of Pippen in 4 of the 5 major advanced metrics. Stockton didn't even make the Top 10 in MVP voting that year

To answer the poll question, I'd have him at 15 in today's game.

Booker over Pippen? I haven't seen the Suns play this year, but that doesn't sound right

Neither AD nor current Jimmy. Theoretically 39 year old Lebron should also be worse, but given how well he is playing now, I'd bet on him against Pippen 9 times out of 10.

Based on advanced metrics, he also has a case over current Curry.

Bottom end of the top 15, with no argument for higher than 10 really.
You said to me “I will give you scissor seven fine quality animation".

You left then but you put flat mediums which were not good before my scissor seven".

What do you take me for, that you treat somebody like me with such contempt?

I have:

SGA, Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Haliburton, Luka, LeBron all clearly ahead of him. That’s 7 guys. KD’s been better so far, but he’s an injury risk. Steph probably provides a little more value when healthy but same thing. Booker I’m not sure he even makes it when healthy. Tatum you’d think would be there based on past performance, but he’s had a pretty bumpy start to the season. I voted 10 when I first thought about it, but actually I think that’s low. I think 8 is a more accurate rank.
