Especially when JT got ejected.

Just horrible performance from the Cs in this game.

Had to rely on the heroics of Al to get the win.

I still miss him a bit but you know Smart would have gone crazy trying to take over the game at that point!

So glad he’s gone haha!

I missed half of the first quarter driving back from dinner at my parents. Based on how the game was going then even I decided it was best to avoid the game thread. Some of you guys need a hug. Cheer up.

Easy win.

Never in doubt.

Brown for the obvious VC and Tatum can have a few goes too.

They were so bloody good tonight.

I’m voting for JB, he was awesome in the minutes I saw.

Also Horford, professional as always.

Al is immortal!

Missed 90% of the game and the thread.

JB hit his shots and free throws at the end. Perhaps the bar is too low. White may have been a better option.

I take next to nothing from the regular season anymore. Not just because this team needs to do it in the last two rounds, but because you can’t take anything from regular season games a lot of the time lol. Bulls are an epic disaster, and beat the bucks last night. The Nuggets just came off losing 5 of 7. Bad teams getting hot from 3, guys relaxing, etc, that stuff has caused infinite more parody during the regular season.

Why does Eddie House always join the post game via Zoom or some ****?

As someone who respects the hell out of LeBron, I dislike that he’s doing what he’s doing at his age. Otherwise, what Al is doing would be getting much more attention, IMO.

man, al is excellent. espn and the like could mention him more but offense (even though his shot is back) reigns supreme.

kd is also excellent at 35.

in a couple decades guys will play solid ball into their 50s (if bball is still popular). that may be a stretch, but I do see players playing well into their 40s being the norm.

There was a sequence where he made a great block, but he just had to ruin it, by forcing a shot the other end.

1) Never count Big Al out. He is the best backup big in the league, and better than 80% (my number, nothing to back it up) of starting big men in the game.

2) Tatum just had a bad game, didn't get calls that he should have and got frustrated by turnovers. 1st tech was a ref being pissy, and Tatum let it get to him. Move on. He is still the best player on the team by far, and one of the top 3 best in the league.

2) Give that man Derrick White his contraction extension 1st chance you get. Rock solid. ALWAYS.

4) Holiday took some bad shots, trying to do a bit too much, but still a solid game and played within the game plan.

5) JB just tries to do too much at times. His defense was top shelf in the 4th quarter though. He still needs to remember when his shot is not falling, to get to the line for points.

6) Game outlook changed as soon as Pritchard came in. Glad he is locked up under contract for a number of years.

7) Hauser needs to take more shots. I expect every time he shoots, it's going in.

8) If Banton could learn to hit the corner three, he would get many ore minutes. At least he was a positive in this game.

9) When is Queta going to get more of Kornet's minutes? Yes, Queta is a stiff at times, but he bangs on the boards, while Kornet gets pushed out of the way by guards. Kornet played 8 minutes and had 1 rebound (on the free throw to end the game when everyone knew Harris was going to try and miss) no points, no assists, no blocks, no steals and was a -9. Queta played 10 minutes, had 5 points and 5 rebounds, and was a lot more active in the paint. Not saying get rid of Kornet, he has his moments, I just think against teams that want to run more, Queta is better.

Obviously I'm glad they won but holy crap this was a flashback to last year's team where they simply have zero interest in showing up against a bad team or a team with their best players are out.

This should have been a 20-point lead in the first half and they should have coasted their way through the second half.

Unfortunately they chose coast just about the entire game

It’s a weird cost cutting thing I’ve noticed everywhere since 2020.

like I said, he forced his shots, but he wasn't awful. he has to be better at passing and deferring. there was an extra poor stretch in that second quarter of him playing poorly.

he will always be seen with a skewed eye because he got paid, it was already bad before he got the bag.

one thing I will do is admit being bias when it comes to jb, i like him, his game isn't pretty but it's good. my skewed eye seems to resemble the league because he got the bag his detractors wished he didn't.
