Fultz, in theory, makes things a bit iffy usage wise but I mean we were a competitive team in the latter half of last year with all of our guys healthy.

Same. We could get away with our Bench C in MoeW because JI was there to clean up his mistakes in defense.

I hate to say it but since Jingles is giving the crew thr vet experience with ball handling and passing, im willing to give up Fultz and even WCJ for a JI type of player... too bad they are rare.

because the game wasn't out of reach for the wizards at that point

At the minute mark we were up 9, that's game but if the players are ok with it no harm

you said the last 2-3 minutes though....it was like a 5 point game with 3:30 left

Its so apparent to me that Moe Wagner is just a straight up better fit on this team that WCJ. I really hope we dont slot WCJ back into big minutes immediately without him earning them. Moe W has legit chemistry with Ingles and Cole and i just think hes a better player. This board massively underrates him.

100% agree with this. We dont need long-midrange shooting from a big man in WCJ. Id far prefer someone in the JI mould. WCJ is fools gold, have always felt that way. Hes also lazy a lot of the time.

Id be selling high in WCJ at the deadline to get us a big piece moving forward.

I'm just beside myself with how good this team is. I'm honestly shocked... and I had an optimistic outlook for this season. Even if we 'fall back down to Earth' and win 60% of our games moving forward, we are way ahead of schedule. We absolutely need JI though... and if we can't rely on him, the FO is going to have their work cut out for them to find a similar defensive big.

Moe, like Cole, is in the perfect role for himself right now.

Come off the bench and absolute roast opposing backup centers for 8-10 minutes each half and then get the heck out of there before the lack of defense and rebounding becomes a problem. Don't need to extend him past that too much.

To your last point, I actually think it's the exact opposite. I think most posters at this point have a great understanding of what Moe is and isn't, but I genuinely think Carter is the most underrated player on the roster (at least from this board) by a lot.

Agreed about WCJ. Do you think he would accept JI's role? Between WCJ and JI, we would have a full-time big

Putting Cole, AB, and Jett out there at the same time might drive David Steele to early retirement.

i belive that last time we had better start of a season than current one, it was in 2010-11 season.
At December 2th 2010, we were 15-4.

It's crazy how good Moritz and Cole are playing off bench. That duo combines more points than some whole benches together.

loved what moe had to say here....this isn't an overnight thing.....we had to go through some stuff to even get to where we were when we ended the season last year, much less where we are now....it feels good to have a direction now....by now last year i was looking at draft picks....haven't once looked this season

Let's make this clear: not even Penny & Shaq or Dwight led teams have had better streak.

I've been hard on Joe Ingles, guy is a true vet addition. Love what he brought to the team.
