Haha it has the opposite effect though. Neemias brings energy and alertness. Special K is an anesthetic. It works as an ironic nickname!

Every trip down the floor he raised his hand to get fed in the post while out there with Tatum, D White, etc. I thought he was good, but in my head was sort of saying "just hit the boards and be ready to catch a lob if you are left open, we're not running plays for you to get touches."
He wants the ball like he's prime Shaq lol.
Isn't that how some coaches teach it though? Not necessarily asking for the ball but it draws the attention of extra defenders. Even perimeter defenders thinking ball is gonna get thrown into the paint can create a small opening/advantage.

He pretty much talked about that last night saying he was trying to draw the extra defender.

That's all good, I like him better than Kornet like everyone else too, just thought it was kind of funny in his first game calling for the ball so much.

It does hah, but maybe it sticks. I think Scal already called him a work horse last night so...(it's used as a sedator for horses)

Queta realistically isn't likely to usurp Luke's role but I'd like to continue to give him a chance. Kornet is what he is at this stage of his career and even though Neemias is already 24, I think he's still got some untapped potential.
If neither end up impressing, I'd be happy to bring Blake back for emergency depth. Assuming he's kept in shape, he'll have fresh legs and at the very least brings good locker room vibes. Ultimately just holding my breath that none of the above end up entering the equation.

If we're honest does emergency depth at the big spot matter in the long run? I mean, Kornet and Queta are clearly enough to get through the regular season. Sure if one of them gets hurt, I'd expect Brad to make a move But KP and Al are getting all the minutes at the big spot in the playoffs and if one of them gets hurt at any point, there's nobody that we'd be able to trade for that could do the things they do. They just aren't replaceable unless you're giving up someone else in your top 6.
