Ties go to the Team. – Cutoff Time, is when the Game Thread is made.

Not that big of a deal and I know that's how it's been done since the beginning, but it just bothers me that "ties go to the team". Take for example the game vs. the Sixers. White and Horford were far and above better than the rest of the team, but they're nearly tied in the votes. Can't possibly "reward" the team for their underwhelming play with a VC vote. Flip a coin, throw darts, anything, but Horford and White need to get the VC and CP here.

It's tough to set the right parameters. The Guy before me used to do Half points, for Ties.
And then I used to do the count if they were 1 pt ahead. And also change the count, if the voting changed.

But now, after doing it for awhile, I see that you have to set parameters.
I believe that remaining consistent, is the best thing that can done. And, that you can't please everyone.:

1) So, no Half points.
2) No changing it once the Next Game Thread is made.
3) Must Win by 2pts.
4) And, if it's a Tie (under 2pts), then give it to the Team.

What the wuttt??

Probably just a super short trip. Get there early saturday morning. Fly back earlier in the day on Monday, in time for game vs Pacers.

Perhaps some type of personal matter back home..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Bit of a bummer can’t imagine he plays Monday.

I still say the IST is silly and dumb. I will continue to hold that opinion unless we win it.

It's OK. We can roll without him.
Come back for the Semifinals, on the 7th.

Pacers Injury Report: Haliburton and Toppin are QUESTIONABLE. Jalen Smith is OUT.

Cs with yet another rest advantage game. That's like 60th for the season now. Indy coming off a game in Miami yesterday while Cs have two-day break.

Read on Twitter

It's also possible a family member sent a photo of their driveway 'cos he was homesick and he just posted it on IG while in Boston.

In any case, it's good he's with the team in Indiana. They have to go to Vegas right after anyway. ;)

EDIT:

Can confirm...

If KP misses the IST and we either win it without him or lose at some point without him, it'll be a pretty big disappointment tbh. Certainly won't make me feel any better about his chances of being with us for the actual playoffs.

This sucks, but its also the right move. Friday 12/1 was one week since the injury, and being "re-evaluated" usually just means the team starts prepping you for a return, so playing just 10 days after a muscle injury always seemed a little unlikely. 10 days is typically like bare minimum recovery time for that injury. Thats doubly true for a 7'3 guy with an injury history.

Their next game after this isn't until Thursday (at earliest), so this buys him 3 more days at least. ne bright side: The IST has made fewer games this week for him to miss.

I like Baynes, but I get to see him on a weekly basis playing for Brissie in the local league. Don't need to dunk on him...he's done (in terms of the NBA).

Useful at local level but in no way a force anymore.

Toppin is meh, but Pacers sans Hali would make things easier.

It should make things easier, but with the way this team plays down to the competition? Aaron Nesmith 30 burger incoming
