It's game 20 of the season, so things aren't new anymore. We are officially not good but the question is how bad are we and if the rookies will start getting some minutes soon.
Olynyk, Dunn, Markkanen and Clarkson are all listed as OUT.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I knew sexton wouldn’t pass the ball on the last play in regulation. So did Portland

Sexton is the one I wanted to take the last shot. Great game for Collin, plus bonus nice seeing some Hendrix’s action.

Why is walker kessler playing off the bench and not ending games?

1. I have to say that Fontecchio (or 'Tech,' as he's called by his teammates) is growing on me. He's much more aggressive and physical on the defensive end this season and he plays hard. If he keeps this level of play I can see him sticking around. And when he provides help defense, I guess we can call it 'Tech Support'.
2. Much better stat line from George but he's still making a lot of mistakes and needs to learn when to attack and when not to, as well as take better care of the ball. He's getting stripped every game at least once, it feels like.
3. Sexton took a few shots I didn't like but overall he was very good. THT was pretty good too and so was Collins.
4. Kessler was fine, despite being posterized twice. It happens, but he had a decent game.
5. Yurtseven (apparently they call him 'Big Yurt') was very good and Hardy deserves props for giving him minutes even in overtime instead of simply handing them over to Kessler. Yurtseven rewarded him by making game-winning plays.
6. Hendricks sighting - he finally got some significant minutes and was pretty good. He was forced to take at least two of his shots when the clock was about to expire. He looks like he can be a real terror on D.

Re: Game 20: Utah Jazz (6-13) vs Portland Trail Blazers (6-12)
I thought this game was the most entertaining game so far this season. They seemed to play more as a team and weren't so isolated on offense. Additionally, it was terrific to see the young guns play significant minutes. Hardy is a fun coach as he seems to understand the importance of going with who's hot and adjusting rotations to allow this to happen. Keeping Sexton in past his normal sub out while he was doing well is an example as was having the Big Yurt in to put on a big hurt in overtime!
