A cool thing from Krejci/Martin being out is that it’s paved the way for Eastern minutes. Dude is a rebounding machine and a 3pt shot away from being the next PJ Tucker. Could definitely see him in the NBA.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Yeah, he was the worst player on both ends of the floor in 1st half
They really missed on Moore. I'm a little surprised considering he came from a strong program like Duke.
I just can't see how he has any shot. It looks like Europe to me.

It's a shame really as the player he was in college if he could do it in the NBA is exactly what the Wolves need.

It's not looking good for Moore, but I'm not prepared to write him off/count him out.

As someone who is going purely from his G League stats I wouldn't have picked up his option he just hasn't shown enough.
The option deadline being so early in the season doesn't help as dumping someone after only 1 year isn't something easy to do.

Moore’s numbers are brutal but I think they’d be a lot better if someone like Nix was around. Iowa doesn’t really have a PG to set the table (most of their guards are combo guards/scoring guards) and it’s definitely hurt Moore’s game. If he gets a really simple role on offense and just has to play decent defense he’s definitely enough to use in an emergency.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Cant agree more. Although I hope they will play much better once Krejci, Martin and Clarke are back from injuries.

Re: Iowa Wolves/G League talk
I haven’t watched Iowa this year. What the hell happened to Moore? Looking at his box scores, he seems to have fallen off a cliff and caught Jarrett Culver syndrome on the way down. Just based on 32% from the floor and 29% from deep his career is in trouble. Add to that low assist numbers for a guy we want to convert to PG. I get that he is a bust, but he wasn’t this bad last year.
Iowa would be a lot better tonight if Nix, Miller, and Garza played. I don’t know a ton about their roster, but not having your NBA talent on hand hurts. I know they had Miller yesterday but I read he had back issues and his numbers kinda prove it.

I think it came down to the team not being interested in giving him a regular contract and having guys they preferred for the two-way deals.

When Nix was on the court they said TC and Finch wanted a 6-4 or 6-5 PG. You can coach a lot of things, but not size. That said, he might be worth a two way if we move on from Nix.

I doubt it. Unless those 3 significantly change the offensive sets they run.
Everything was either dribble up the court and ISO or pass once and ISO. No movement, no cohesion.
If I'm being fair I could argue that there's no PGs on the roster but then that just annoys me more since I was fairly high on Trevor Keels coming out and so far I've gotten burnt on that.

I don’t know much about him but it looking at his stats it seems like the new guy, Tra-Deon Hollins, is the pass first type point guard that the team desperately needed which is a big step in the right direction at least.

Miller finished with 32 points (14-24 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks over 41 minutes in Sunday’s 116-106 loss to Indiana. Miller led all players in Sunday's contest in scoring while putting together an all-around performance that included over a handful of rebounds and a trio of assists, steals and blocks to lead Iowa. Miller has averaged 19.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks over 30.5 minutes in seven appearances this year.
41 minutes wow. That's a lot. Not an OT game as far as I can tell. I'm not sure he can't help us right now, but next year some people have to go to make room for him.
It's Miller time.

I think the Iowa Wolves only had 7 players available and of them Yat only played 8 minutes. The Iowa team has a bunch of guys out and none of the NBA or two-way guys other than Miller played.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
