Tonight was ugly, but it was a second game of a b2b with travel involved. I thought this game might give us trouble. We’re also not full strength yet. Great streak but it was going to end. They’ll learn to pick themselves up by their bootstraps. They’ll need these next 3 games bad, all winnable, because the rest of the month is tough.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

What’s the purpose of him being on the fcking roster if he’s only available every 4th game for 12 minutes?

That’s why he’s paid handsomely.
Horford rolled into his ankle.

And he was available
Mosely probably decided that since we were down 20 early , he'd give his ankle more time.

This is what it’s like to be the team that’s hunted. It hasn’t been that way for 12 years.

I bet they stay in NY tomorrow and do a bunch of interviews. We'll have a lot of Magic talk the next few days.

These are the games where playing 3v5 on offense also hurt, I mean I know we love the streak but let's be a bit realistic with importing 3rd stringers into the starting lineup... our bench has been amazing and our starting lineup has been good but nothing to write home about.

Fultz and WCJ aren't necessarily the answers or the future, but acting like they hurt us just because of the streak is a weird take to me.

In my opinion, the reason why we’ve played so well isn’t because Goga and Black are better players. It’s because they are essentially acting as NPCs and allowing everything to flow through Franz, Paolo, or Suggs. This is the way for us, Fultz and WCJ have to fall in line. No WCJ threes, no Fultz taking 10+ shots.

3-2
2-3
5-0
4-1

Only losing 1 five game set so far is really nice. Next five are tough.

That's great and all, but when they don't score, and Paolo and Franz aren't sharp, and our bench is back to being average, you need more potency from more players.

Relying on Black and Goga will only take you so far.

Franz and Paolo played great with them in the lineup last year, it shouldn't take much to tweak some usage things in terms of the ball being shared in everyone's hands equally.

We still have the #12 offense. We just missed way too many layups tonight

I guess I feel a little better now. Heat lost at home to the Pacers 144-129, shot 65.9% from the field. And without Haliburton!

All I could think of was coaching, every coach should have a package for zone offense.... It made me question if we do

We were two steps slow. When you get outscored by 21 and some dude goes for 26 in the quarter it’s clear the legs and will was not there to start this game. Perhaps it was a scheduled loss but you got to have more will to fight thru and not let mediocre teams punk you like this.
Tough back to back, just wished for a bit more fight at the start of the game....
