MPJ been stealing money for years now.

You say this after he contributed to a title winning team. No offense, but that's what these organizations are playing for. We don't know if they will win more, but at the end of the day, Denver chipped with him in the starting lineup.

I only saw a couple games in last years finals but Jokic was carrying HARD offensively for a couple of those W's.

Miami should have closed Denver out from what I was seeing since Butler decided to not attempt layups even though he was getting easy looks

One of the strangest games ive ever seen from my time watching the nBA. Yes Denver won the chip but it was hardly convincing.

MPJ is a non-factor most nights.

So you missed three rounds of playoff basketball and then didn't watch the entire finals? And you think Miami should have won that series? Denver dominated the playoffs man last season (16-4). What the heck?

Lets see.

Minnesota? They were missing a key defender and still made it a tough series.
PHX? No CP3
LAL: Was a close series despite the sweep.
Miami: It seemed like Miami threw the series considering no one was slowing Butler down.

I sporadically caught games but it was typical denver stuff

The point being mPJ/Murray are not worth 66m

Bruce brown and KCP played like they were worth 66m and I got KILLED on this board last year for saying what a difference maker they would be

I honestly don't get this. You don't think they are worth the money because their stats aren't higher? They helped Denver win the title (something they had never done before in franchise history). Is that not what they are paid to do?

I edited my post but I added the fact Bruce Brown / KCP were the "other guys" besides Jokic during that run. MPJ/Murray are not 66m caliber players.

At least half of the 66m should be given to KCP at this point

They had a +10 net rating in that playoff run against top competitions that's pretty historic in itself. To put this number in context the highest net rating so far this season is +9.5 by Boston and that's against regular season competitions.

And btw they blew out the Suns in Game 1 & 2 where CP3 did play.

Aaron Gordon played Butler well so not sure what you are saying there. Miami threw the series away?

Im still trying to figure out how this lends itself to MPJ and Murray being worth 66m and suiting up for 1/4 of the season it seems like

We know Jokic can ball and last season KCP/BB stepped up a ton

I'm responding to your point that their title run is not convincing.

The miami series was not convincing in the slightest. The heat were getting every look they wanted offensively in that elimination game. Should have went to 7 easily.

BTW this is coming from a Denver native who has been HIGHLY familiar with this team since the kenyon martin era. I know the Nuggets

It would be nice if Murray can consistently play. You’re trying to be a championship team and your second guy has like a 35 year old body.

At least Murray has proven on multiple occasions he can step up big time come playoff time...That's what you want from the 2nd best player of your team!

Why are there no games today?

Last night, Towns had 28, Gobert 26, Naz Reid 23. At one point in the fourth quarter, all three were on the floor together.

I’m curious if three “centers” have scored 20 points in the same game before?

Must be IST-related. And another excuse to dodge the NFL.

No games next Sunday either. It's kind of a joke.
