I do think that he'll be a bonafide star in the future. Top 20-25.

He's not having a good season at all. Numbers look solid at first glance but under the hood nothing is going well. Neutral assist to turnover ratio, pretty bad scoring efficiency. 17.7 points on 15 shots in a whopping 37 minutes is not good scoring. He might have a bright future but he's a bad NBA player right now.

I like watching him and enjoy the crazy explosiveness off of two feet. Crazy length too.

I don’t disagree with your points, but calling him a bad NBA player is a bit of a misinterpretation…

Some of his worst early season inefficiency games came when the blazers were down to having just Skylar Mays at point cuz Brogdon, Scoot, and Simons were all injured. Sharpe was playing out of position and running the point for long stretches whenever Skylar sat. His game playmaking game has potential but it’s not ready to run point at this point in his career.

Not to say he’s a good player yet either, but I think his early season efficiency should rise to a bit of a higher mean as the Blazers point guards return to health and Sharpe gets more minutes on the wing.

I'm not saying Sharpe is an inherently bad player who doesn't currently work in any NBA context. I'm also not calling him awful. I'm just talking about where he's at right now in this specific context. People might see 17ppg and some dunk highlights and think he's taking some kind of leap. I'm also responding to the subject in the OP.

That’s the worst case, best case is probably peak Zach Lavine.

I went with All Star/Borderline AS. I think that is his floor.
Its good for him to be able to make mistakes and keep his minutes. I'm sure the Blazers are working with him to add little things here and there to improve in efficiency etc just as they would be with Scoot.
Think the future clashes with Ant could be epic.
