* Griff
* Dame
* Giannis
* Young guys (Green, AJax, Marjon)

On the plus side, the offence looks a lot better and we’ve still got 62 more games to build on it. Dame has fixed a lot of the issues the old team had.

Negative side is our D obv. I don’t know if we’re coasting or confused but we can’t expect to go far without making some significant leaps come playoffs.

We desperately need one of our young guys to pan out.

I’m still on the fence about Griff but I don’t think he’ll be sacked this year unless something really crazy goes down in the final 62 games. For better or worse, we’re tethered to Griff’s ship for the rest of the season.

Griff= D+
Dame= B
Giannis= A
Ajax= B
Green&MJB= D

Dame gets a B because his offense is great and even getting better but he’s a terrible defender with no effort til the last couple minutes

Khris worries me more than he annoys me. Yes, Khris's lack of mobility these days is a major concern on defense. However, Khris has offense that translates very very well to the playoffs so it counterbalances things. Offensively, he's worth every penny. He's taking a back seat in shot attempts now with Dame here and the minutes restriction is a big nuisance but come playoff time it's going to be a luxury to be able to have him out there. You saw what he did in the Miami series without another creator on the court with him for the majority of it. Now he's going to have Giannis and Dame and all the space in the world to cook.

Beasley is almost entirely a catch and shoot specialist. He's shown some other wrinkles here and there like some driving ability, a floater, stop and pop mid range, etc.., but i dont envision his skillset consistently translating to success against tough playoff D like he's going to see against Boston, Philly, New York, and Cleveland. The offense isn't always going to be able to generate looks for him.

so that's my Ted Talk on why I dont mind Khris sucking on defense as much as Beasley.

I’d agree if he looked fit enough for 30 mins a game of high intensity playoff basketball; he doesn’t now and I don’t foresee that changing by April.

Definitely wasn't fit for the Miami series last year and ended up being our best player, don't know why people worry about Khris so much on here.

It’s hilarious how little credit Midds gets. He was easily the second best player on a championship team and put up 40 in the finals.

He gets plenty of credit for what he was 3 seasons ago.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A one way player who is a solid but unspectacular shooter and can no longer be a volume scorer due to his physical condition is not a good or great player (especially for his contract) anymore.

Yep, no doubt he was 2nd best player in the means of the championship run, offensively speaking. Even then though you had to live with super streaky play.

You're arguing with stats. Team plays much better with Khris on the floor while he is at 60% capacity, idk what you want from him. His numbers and production are great for the minutes situation.

:lol: at Khris just being a solid shooter, what? :lol:

He’s no longer the top notch shooter he once was, besides the small sample size of last year’s Miami series he hasn’t been near 40% from 3 in years.

As for him, maybe if he’d beat some of our secondary players in efficiency I’d be satisfied, or if he didn’t look equal or worse than Beasley on D.

Today I learned raw shooting percentages are more important than on/off numbers. Thus, Steve Kerr is the greatest players of all-time.

If not for Middleton/Lopez we get stomped by Atlanta in the ECF the moment Giannis goes down.

Khris just can't win with a certain contingent of Bucks fans, it's always been that way and I'm not really sure why. 4th best Buck of all time

If Midds can play 30 minutes a game in the playoffs I'll be happy with him.

Khris’ passes to Giannis are better than anybody else’s passes to Giannis, by far.

They have perfect chemistry of 10 years. The longer Dame and Giannis play together the better they will become. It's obvious the last 10 games or so. They started with turnovers, bad passes, crap screens and lately they execute perfect PNR, give n go etc.
GHOSTofSIKMA wrote: I think that we will do worse than last season and that Giannis is now just a mere all star. All because we switched from Bud to Griffin.

I know a Bucks broadcaster who shot 46% from three and who would dispute your conclusion, although he would probably struggle to make his point in coherent English.
