Can’t really blame Tatum for this one. I feel like the perimeter defense let Boston down. And of course, missing KP, but Boston should never expect him to play

Both Tatum and Brown showed up. White had a good game. Hauser poured in 15. They just didn’t have enough stops against this IND engine

I said this on the GB. The midseason tourney becomes instant fan favorite if a non title contending team wins it. Having an anything can happen element makes anything more exciting. That can be an issue in the nba cuz too often the team that's supposed to win at the beginning of the year wins the title. Let’s hope the kings or the pelicans make a run out of the west.

Helped the underdog had the home court.

So sad the Obi haters. He was with the 2 unit that pushed the lead to 10.

Barkley and Shaq said Obi was a great pickup for the Pacers.

Always wanted the first round to at least be best of 5 like the old days, if not best of 3. First round of the playoffs is generally boring except for the 4/5 matchup and maybe the 3/6.

My ideal playoffs would be best of 3, then best of 5, then best of 7 and best of 7.

Too bad we let Obi go, we really needed to replace Randle with a PF who is unplayable in the 4th quarter

I was going back and forth on whether they just do the whole thing in Vegas. Like even group games but the vibes in Indiana were immaculate. Would really hate to have that go away.

Obi getting benched in the 4th quarter like Enes Kanter meanwhile Randle just won player of the week leading us to victories on a bum knee. Boy are we fortunate!

I think this is awful and counterproductive in the long run because it diminishes the NBA's most valuable asset (the NBA championship). Its value comes from its scarcity. The cup removes this element of scarcity.

If the Knicks win the tournament, James Dolan will sell it as a meaningful achievement because it puts less pressure on them to actually win a championship. Which is what we should want, as fans. This applies to most NBA franchises but especially to non-title favorites.

I think this tournament is a disaster that will cost us fans and the NBA in the long run. I'll go as far as to say that if the NBA were to crumble in years to come, this will likely be remembered as the starting point.

I have to be wrong about this but I remember someone telling me the reason they went away from the best of 5 cuz too many upsets were happened. Making things more predictable just seems counter intuitive.

This Pelican offense is so weird that they have Zion sitting in the corner on offense instead of the block or foul line extended
