This team is soft. They got punked pretty good in Orlando and now today again.

Use whatever excuse you want to use, this is a bad loss and it is somewhat concerning that we crumbled in that environment and the baby Pacers didn’t.


Mazzula once again watches a 3rd quarter run, watches a star get hot and does nothing about it. At what point do we realize the man does nothing because he has no clue what he is doing out there?

My gut says it’s time to split up the Jays, I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion but I felt it strong after last playoffs.

There is no “split up the Jays”, as one is an mvp candidate.

It’s trade Jaylen, or build around them. Next summer will be interesting, whether this team wins or not.

This team is really not any different than the teams in the past several years. They continue to be god-awful in the third and if they can't hit threes they lose.

That's exactly what happened tonight. Boston shot 29% from three and Indy shot nearly 50% and they lose to a team barely about 500.

Also PP is absolutely atrocious offensively and he should be like the 13th guy off the bench.

They were also missing the element that made them different this year-- Porzingis.

Team (tries) to rely too much on talent alone

We have a target on our back - teams will come to play vs. us, especially during a tournament elimination game. We didn't match their intensity for the most part

I don't think that's a fair comparison. Ime inherited a team with terrible habits that had never had any accountability. It took him until the trade deadline to mold the team. Joe inherited a team coming off a finals run, and coached an older Tatum/Brown.

We managed to come back in the 4th quarter to the point scores were level with a minute & a half to go when Halliburton hit that ridiculous 3 pointer that became a 4 point play.

It’s like no matter what this team does you “fans” will come on here after a loss to tell us the season is over & we should fire the coach lol

Not taking anything away from IND but I’ve always said this tournament favors the hungry. Celtics weren’t hungry for this one.

An Indy/Kings IST championship game would be huge for league ratings.

Playoff preview

You can see the panic at times particularly in Derrick white and Horford when they were spazzing with the ball playing 200 mph.

I don’t know how anyone can faith late in games with this team. Time and time you just know they’ll find a way to lose whether it’s bricking on offense with bad shots or letting the other team hit every shot late.

Just hope Porzingis is that difference maker which looked that way when he was out there. Late in games the offense needs to go to him in the post.

I don’t want to overreact to what ultimately amounts to a regular season loss but as others have noted, there seems to be a pattern when it comes to our teams that have been built around Tatum and Brown that we don’t have the grit to finish games and advance, which is obviously what you have to do to win a championship.

If Split the Jays means trade Brown then Yes.. But I fear we can't now due to 300,000,000

Celtics fans are perhaps the most hysterical fanbase in all of professional sports. They lose a game, narrowly, in which they lost the three point battle by over twenty points on the road and everyone goes immediately to "they are doomed."

Its the same thing as last year. If you shoot under 30% from three, and your opponent shooter over 40%, you will likely lose. Its not some indictment on Tatum/Brown especially when they in general played fairly well tonight.

Al having a down game and KP out hurt us, as does our general bad 3PT shooting (outside Hauser). Jrue still taking time to find his groove at Boston is also to be expected really, but his shooting really needs to improve.
