He’s one of the handful of guys on this team I do trust in a tight, playoff atmosphere.

it was White’s two early turnovers to start the 3rd quarter that sent things going in the wrong direction. Very unlike D White. White ended up with 5 turnovers

I honestly had to double take, I thought I was mixing up the light skinned dudes and it was Tatum who kept turning it over.

My initial impression was to just say forget about this game without Porzingis, but after further thought I seriously asked myself why wasn't Hauser in towards the end, as he seriously outplayed Holiday, AND I was asking this thru most of Q4, so only one ball handler (White) was needed by my estimation. Poor choice by Joe. Hauser was +9, Holiday -15.

Not surprising when you consider the core of Tatum,Brown and Horford have never won anything meaningful here and Mazzulla has no idea how to generate offense when the three isn't falling.
Hanging championship aspirations on "Boy, I hope we get hot from three" is a fool's errand...

It took a season for Joe to figure out White can close games. Might need another for him to realize Hauser can close at times. He was playing well on both ends and deserved more minutes.

Live and die by the three when they couldn’t stop us at the rim… tons of turnovers and the lights were too bright . C’s we’re rattled and Joes amateur hour….. good thing it’s only Dec. we need another Center asap and could use another ball handler IMO.

We may have another center but I guess we'll never know.

We've got Jrue and DWhite, but it always ends up in JT or JBs hands, our worst ball handlers.

JB is a known commodity in this regard, JT seems to have taken up the lazy, hotdogging, one handed toss/pass turnover mantle from Smart

This team is really not any different than the teams in the past several years. They continue to be god-awful in the third and if they can't hit threes they lose.

That's exactly what happened tonight. Boston shot 29% from three and Indy shot nearly 50% and they lose to a team barely about 500.

Also PP is absolutely atrocious offensively and he should be like the 13th guy off the bench.

They were also missing the element that made them different this year-- Porzingis.

Correct. Think people are really underrating his absence. He’s comfortably been one of the best post players in the league this season, even better than Tatum by the numbers which is saying something.

His absence hurts, especially when Horford has an old man night.

My gut says it’s time to split up the Jays, I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion but I felt it strong after last playoffs.

There is no “split up the Jays”, as one is an mvp candidate.

It’s trade Jaylen, or build around them. Next summer will be interesting, whether this team wins or not.

Uh Huh and Carmelo Anthony was a MVP candidate too. He was still a soft loser.
