LoL at Kayte and the purple pen on the replay of the Sabonis block.
Just hire Matt Barnes or someone to replace her.

BI is just so long, he's been shooting right over the top of Keegan all night long.

She's better with Kyle since he is more comedic & spirited.
But I'm not a fan of hers with Jones.

Automatic loss vs this team. We've said it all the last 2 games. What else can you do? If we wanna beat these teams in march-April we need another legit forward

Pelicans are a bad match up for the Kings. Point blank period.

Pelicans have the Kings number. 0-3 against them. That team is scary when at full strength.
The Kings need another big time wing to elevate them.
Barnes isn’t that dude.

Hate to say I told you so. But I've never seen a more obvious mistake than resigning Barnes this offseason. People told me consistency, continuity, etc.. ya the team is Fox, sabonis, monk, and maybe murray/huerter. Barnes could have been replaced with even PJ Washington and we would have been another level.

He disappears for long stretches, we will not progress without an upgrade.

If you subtract the 3 wins over Sacramento, the Pels are a sub 500 team. Looks like they just have our number especially with wings who can play

Doesn’t score consistently or rebound the ball either. Bad combination to have. His defense in spot situations is decent but doesn’t have the stamina to do it all game long.
He needs to be benched and try other players or trade.

They would be foolish to bench him before Dec 15th, just saying.KF10 wrote:Lost in LA wrote:KF10 wrote:Pelicans have the Kings number. 0-3 against them. That team is scary when at full strength.

We need the HB hype train!

I think people around the league knows who is Barnes at this stage of his career. Moving him to the bench or limiting his minutes shouldn't be a huge hit to his value.
The team needs to make some changes sooner rather than later, imo.

It's interesting, maybe he can become a super sub type of guy. Like think of a reversal of what coach Brown hates, reserves coming in and fouling. HB can get to the line and maybe, just maybe he can have some plays run for him.

Imagine what percentage of the cap will go to the bench between a resigned Monk, Barnes, and Davion. Barnes simply has to be a starter or get moved with Davion for a Barnes upgradeOxAndFox wrote:KF10 wrote:City of Trees wrote:They would be foolish to bench him before Dec 15th, just saying.

Yeah it would get expensive. Add Duarte in that too. I don't see Davion here long term even though there are still some warm coals that keep hope alight that he will turn things around. I believe in his talent, just unsure if he will ever get it in this system.
I think part of the FO strategy is again seeing what we look like at the end of the season. Maybe the question is, can we get by with a Sasha/Lyles PF combo with Sasha starting and Lyles coming off the bench still, but as a backup 4 & 5 and HB backs up Keegan?
Sign Duarte long-term for not much and use Duarte/Huerter/Davion as the salary to get an upgrade at the 2/3. A lockdown-type defender who can shoot the 3.
I'm still of the belief that Sasha is ahead of schedule and I fully expect him to be a starter or playing close to starter minutes next season.
If the perimeter defense improves a combo of Sabonis/Sasha is smart enough to get stops. It's not going to be the TWolves defense by any means, but it will be average to above-average (10-16 range) and that is when the offense will once again take center stage.
All this doesn't mean there will be no trades, this FO is extremely flexible and will make moves that need to happen if something pops up.
