Nothing personal against the guy, but it seemed evident he’d never be able to achieve what Bennett and Bo did. They needed to move on a couple years ago. Hopefully they do it by month’s end.

From March 8, 2023.

Was absolutely a sucker bet on my part when I made it, and knew it at the time. But I don't like Gard, so for fun, I made it.

AND, I will indeed have a Greg Gard avatar for the next week!

The guy still isn't the long-term answer, but he is able to smack Marquette around.

I’m guessing 5 years from now you’ll be repeating the same BS

Possible. Steve Yoder lasted 10 years as Badgers MBB coach.

Looks like the MSU game is Peacock
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I mean if you gotta pull a reference from 30+ years ago...
And given the 40 year history prior to his arrival, he didn't do that bad:
He compiled a record of 128–165 and led the Badgers to the National Invitation Tournament in 1988–89 and 1990–91 – the Badgers' first postseason appearances in over 40 years
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I get the sentiment and my 100% support of Gard (because of the suggestion he was awful/fireable 5 years ago) has faded...but yeah, he's had just a little bit more success than Yoder. I understand different points of comparison.

Love having a big matchup on a platform which limits viewers.

Excited to box score watch.

That was a great pass by Essegian, no idea why Klesmit didn't was slow to step back inbounds there.

Also Tyler Wahl needs to get it together with the unnecessary early fouls. Second game in a row we're being subjected to extended Carter Gilmore minutes because Wahl can't stay out of foul trouble.

I really wasn't sure what to make of this MSU team since I hadn't seen them play yet. Their losses are all to top-15 teams, but their wins are all against **** teams. There's been no in between for them - but they did stay in the game with all those losses, including Arizona who we got next.

Needed to get Storr much more involved on offense imo, he was feeling it. Especially in those end of shot clock situations.

Also I'd like to see a little more from Hepburn. He's done a great job being a steady hand at PG but when we're struggling to score with these bench lineups that has to be where he steps up his scoring.

Storr! Great last possession.

I really think he's the guy that decides the ultimate ceiling for this team. Maybe Blackwell to an extent also for what he brings on defense and hustle plays.

It's not an offensive foul to lead with your elbow into someone's face to create space?
