Think we were 20th in DRTG a few games ago. Now we're 21 and gave up 72 points to New York in the first half. Amazingly, it seems to be trending downwards.

AG does this a lot. Ajax once came in and hit two huge threes along with his stellar hustle plays. Was benched shortly after hitting the second three and never came back in. It's baffling.

Too many below average defenders, and a scheme not suited to help.

140 points in a half is ridiculous. League has to change a few rules to balance things defensively. Get rid of defensive 3 seconds.

What if you could have the equivalent of a goalie so on defense you have six players? That player is never allowed to leave the paint.

Don't say that, Bogut will un-retire and then people who don't listen to his ranting podcasts will be forced to listen to him.

I think everyone just needs to accept that this is a no defense all offense team and go full Mike D'Antonio.

maybe.. i'm not sure though. so far, the Knicks are staying in this thing by getting to the line on careless fouls on our part. we need to just be putting a hand up and living with the result and we are giving them the free points. I dont know if Andre is going to help with that.

i think we will continue to value having shooters on the floor so that Giannis and Dame have outlets on drives. Offensively, pretty damn good so far, only 2 or 3 possessions where i thought they weren't moving the ball or making a decisive shot.

Offense has been great, and continues to get better.

On defense though, We've laid out a red carpet in the lane. The Knicks are 27th in the league in points in the paint and are currently leading us by 10 in that stat, already scoring more to the half than they average for a whole game this season.

the other way to look at this game is that we can play A LOT better and we are leading. The Knicks have probably played to their paygrade, but also have the advantage of getting a ton of soft fouls called and having Randall not miss a shot. i feel great going forward.

Does Randle play another 20 mins in the second half?

Probably not great that we're shooting 65% overall and 70% from 3 and only winning by 3.

I'm at the game, some notes:

They didn't stop playing music the entire first half. It's horrible for getting the crowd engaged.

The defensive rotations are like a middle school soccer team. Everyone chases the ball or runs in random directions.

Giannis still plays dumb and selfish way too often
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

You can tell the players are really treating this one with the intensity an IST game deserves.

Just a pathetic crowd in this game. That Indiana crowd was stellar last night.

You're in Milwaukee, Lisa. Jesus Christ our announcers suck (other than Marques.)

Giannis is 8/10. Selfish might be a little strong. He isn't exactly jacking up 3s
