Great Sleuthing.
It's very much as I expected. Here's a quick excerpt that has most of the pertinent information. Should be a zero to 2 game absence.

"He's not seriously hurt," Krawczysnki continued. "No one believes that it's going to be an extended absence for Anthony Edwards. Would it surprise me if he missed Thursday at Utah and maybe another one coming up? No, it wouldn't surprise me because I'm sure he woke up on Wednesday morning very, very sore. I think that it would make sense that the Timberwolves will get some more tests done on Edwards just to kind of check it out and make sure everything is OK, but I think he avoided, from all indications, he avoided any kind of a major injury. Maybe he misses Thursday against Utah, maybe Saturday against Charlotte. I don't know, we'll see."

Update on NBA.Com

ANTHONY EDWARDS
11/29/2023 12:31:05 PM
Edwards (hip) is doubtful for Thursday’s game versus the Jazz. Edwards suffered a right hip contusion in Tuesday's win over the Thunder and will likely miss Thursday's contest. Shake Milton, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Troy Brown are candidates to receive increased minutes if Edwards is ultimately ruled out.

This very easily could have been a broken hip bone... we dodged a bullet.

I'm crossing my fingers but I don't think we're out of the woods with with an Ant injury, we haven't heard anything about test results yet.
I would sit him for at least the next 2 games and wouldn't be surprised if he missed a week to 10 days at the minimum.

We can also say that perhaps the calendar allows us to think about resting ANT...
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

Give him one week off... Let him watch as much as possible videotapes with PnRs, different coverages etc.

Hopefully both Ant and JMcD are back for Dec 11 to Jan 10. 16 games with 11 away. All against.500+ teams. JMcL would be nice too. I will happy with a 8-8. Milton would be good if he decides to show up.

The next 3 games should all be wins even without ANT.

Don't be happy with 8-8. That is not giving us the respect we deserve as an elite team.

Funny how the goal post had shifted. I can't handle it :D. We just wanted to make the playoffs but now is to win the NBA championship. However, we do have to seize the moment. A magical season doesn't happen often in Minnesota. If the Twins can do it, why not Timberwolves.

I'm still realistic with what we can do . Offense is sometimes struggling and i'm not sure we can maintain the defense intensity 82 games. We will have some tough moments. I'm also worry about injuries. Jaden is often injured, KAT has been in the past and Mike is 36 years old. No way you let him 37 min like we did againt OKC without any serious risk. And if we loose our floor general, it will make a huge difference. We are still short on one good PG backup. Hopefully Milton or JMcL can elevate their level. I'm thrilled with what we have done, but not overexcited too much.

Yes, best start in Wolves history by far. At the same time, good concerns. One well timed trade will put us over the top now that we are already playing so well. It will be better once JMcL and JMcD comes backup. Absolutely agree a consistent bench scorer would be great. Would the next Malik please come down to the podium.

I agree with Ant. All star replacement doesn't count. Count that and D'Lo was an all star.

Any updates? Assuming it's no serious, it would still make sense to sit him out Monday vs NOP. Plan to have him ready for Thursday at DAL or Sat at home vs IND.
