He went for the steal first and that cost him.

watching this Knicks game and their in house broadcast team keeps talking about how they need another scorer. if ever there was a team to trade offense for defense with, that's the one. would love Hart, personally, but i doubt he's available.

Yup same old nba, gotta prop up the Lakers and give tired old lebron one more bauble for the mantle. Sad. I wasn’t following the west, why aren’t the TWolves in this thing? That would’ve made this fun, now I could care less.

Tired old Lebron? What's this about? He's having a great season. He's missed 1 game, playing over 33 minutes per. Shooting 41% from deep. If he was 29 the great year he's having would be talked about incessantly. The fact he turns 39 in 3 weeks amplifies it.

Lol maybe I shouldve stated that I’m tired of old lebron or more the media coverage of the Lakers. The Pacers are young and fun to watch, but the Lakers should win handily if they play defense the way that they have been. If they do the media is going to be unbearable.

I think an indication that players and teams have taken the IST seriously is the reaction from the semifinal losing teams. Giannis and Bobby upset and speaking up about things that need correcting (and not so subtly pointing at the coach) and word coming out of Pelicans' camp criticizing Zion's fitness and nutrition. That stuff doesn't happen after a normal regular season game 20 games into the season.

Crazy. If Giannis did this the media would be shredding him

Currently nothing on TV sports wise today. No idea why the NBA didn't play the 2 games today and final game on Tuesday.

Very dumb, almost as dumb as giving the pacers a full extra day of rest. IST has been good but has kinks to iron out.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has never been afraid to speak his mind.

He did just that after the Warriors' 123-115 loss to the Suns on Wednesday night, slamming the "South Beach club" atmosphere at Footprint Center in Phoenix.

"In this building, you can't hear anything because it's like a club, it's like a South Beach club out there," Kerr told reporters in his postgame comments. "What are we doing?"

Kerr continued: "I'm being dead serious. I couldn't hear anything out there. The whole game is just thumping, techno club music. Can we just have a basketball game anymore? What the hell?"

^^^the troll of Kerr was hilarious. That said, the music pump has gotten over the top at most arenas now. I might actually welcome StreetLife back.

The NBA did a good job scheduling this for a weekend evening with no other big sporting events. People might actually be hard up enough to watch an exhibition game.

If the NBA really wanted the tourney to be important, once the knockout round begins they could make the Ws count towards the regular season record but the Ls don't count. It'd be a clear advantage for playoff seeding.

Pacers cut it to 6 with 5 minutes left, then got pasted.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lakers have the 7th best defensive rating in the NBA so I do not know why Laker fans are upset.

Lakers have a few more better and more versatile defenders than we do.
