1ST Q: SPURS 21 ROCKETS 19

Missapalooza. Self-inflicted. We had a sliver of a lead disappear thanks to passive play and settling for 3s - 2-12. We have taken 22FGAs so MORE THAN HALF ARE FROM THE **** ARC.

We then went on a 7-0 largely courtesy of Cedi and his intelligent play - he saw openings, put some effort in, and drove.

The starting unit is FAR TO HORIZONTAL and far too unwilling to create at the rim even though we have three big guys in Keldon (0-3, all 3s), Sochan (1-3, none in the paint), and Wemby (2-5, but inexplicably 1-4 from 3 despite being moved to the 3).

Five TOs, not great. Boxing out needs work.

EFFORT AND PHYSICALITY, SPURS. NEED MORE OF THEM.

Pop loses a challenge wherein Wemby got elbowed on D but didn't have positioning, then Pop rips into the ref for Wemby being hacked on his left post up and no call.

13-4 to start the 2ND Q. Keldon continues to only shoot 3s. Three of our four shots have been in the paint so far, though. We're just not putting nearly enough pressure at their rim and they're like **** it we're bruising into them and we've put them to the FT line 8-10 total so far, while we're still stuck at 3-4. ONLY Branham has gone to the FT line from starters.

Dev and Keldon socreless with Dev only 1 shot so far is UNACCEPTABLE.
