The games confusing as **** dude gonna take you basically all of act one to even kinda understand in my experience. Way more out there now then when the game dropped though.

This is my first D&D universe game and yea, totally lost. Just kinda dicking my way through.

I started over completely. I missed some stuff early on, like a core character. I also didn't really have an idea how to do basic stuff, like separate a character from the group, or use basic functions like jumping, sneaking, throwing, or lockpicking. Didn't have a good handle on using the environment in battle, or shooting inanimate objects.

This seems like the last game you should do what I did and wing it. Watching videos really helped, even if they spoiled some early stuff.

I would say winging it is kind of exactly what you should do, but it's probably more correct to say that winging it is what someone who is familiar with this type of game and D&D should do, which doesn't apply to you at all. Hopefully it helps you get a feel for things and you end up feeling more freedom 20 hours from now.

I unfortunately missed two possible companions &(!) an option boss in Act 1.

Yeah I think I cleared out act one pretty well. I do kind of hate that i went rogue though.

yeah. I winged my first playthrough and plan to do it going forward, but I also had close to 60 hours in early access so had a good idea of game functions/builds/etc

Yeah, winging it is ideal. D&D is partially improv and a lot about consequence while failing forward. I’d say a big part of the praise for the game is that there’s so many different ways to resolve problems that it’s highly re-playable. Live by the dice roll, truck forward, have your unique experience, re-play it again trying to accomplish specific things differently.

On BG3 PC, how do you use unspent action points to move further? On Xbox it does that by default, but I don't know how to get that to work on PC. I'm only moving half the distance I'm used to.

Sprint. The guy who looks like he is running. Gotta activate it then you should get the extra distance allowed.

Cyberpunk 2.1 has me completely hooked lol. It’s sooo good now. It took them long enough to fix it but it really is a technical marvel. Can’t wait for CDPR’s next big game, even if the launch is probs gonna be a clown show.

Sold my 49" Samsung ultrawide and swapped out to 3 27" 2k monitors. Ultrawide just wasn't for me, but super pleased with the change. Ended up getting $700 for the monitor and the new ones only cost $900, had to put PC on a stand under the desk to fit. Think I'm finally done (for now) and I just need a shelf or artwork above.

Dropped $900 on a 4080 TI yesterday, upgrading from a 1070. Hope it's worth it >>>>>>>>

Now THAT is an upgrade. Will be a huge difference. I'll be waiting until 5000 or 6000 now. Just not enough to justify going up from a 3080Ti.

4090 is leagues better than every other card on the market by a substantial margin. Understand not wanting to spend that much, but the option is definitely out there (especially for 4k gaming).

What monitor mount are you using? I’m looking for one and my desk is up against a wall like yours.

Here it is. So far so good. Easy set up, good cable management in the arms, pretty sturdy as well. Would recommend for the price.

Any games you have in mind to check out the difference? Cyberpunk is pretty impressive maxed out if you own that.

I think I'll build a brand new computer when the 5- series comes out. I have a 2070S now, and other equipment from 2018-20, and a new build in '24 feels appropriate.

j, totally with you on ultrawides - not for me at all. I love my dual-27 setup; enjoy your trio!
