Yet the games he played great in while injured nothing was said. But once he plays like garbage in a game 7 the “injury” is brought up

Tell me about Kobe fking Bryant’s injuries he dealt with especially in his fingers. Jimmy Butler had a bad ankle and made it all the way to the NBA Finals. Joker plays with a bad wrist on and off. Allen Iverson dealt with tons of injuries. Why is it Embiid we have to keep hearing about injuries.

Bad ankle and torn meniscus, pcl/lcl and a broken face are absolutely different.

Allen Iverson was a warrior. No one compares, maybe Kobe.

Jimmy didn't tear anything or break anything. There are levels here that you don't want to acknowledge because it's convenient for your argument.

I know what you're trying to say, but if you can barely see with a mask on, and have a concussion (Embiid did when he played Miami) I'd say that's just as bad or worse.

Which do you think is more necessary as a human being? Your wrist being hurt, or your face on fire from a broken orbital bone?

I agree that was a soft ejection, but it sorta seems like Jokic is just having a rough stretch currently. He needs to find a way to get out of it soon if he’s gonna win mvp. Embiid has to be the favorite at the moment he has a 79% win percentage at 15-4 and not to mention he’s putting up ATG numbers.

It depends mate, and it also depends on pain tolerance. Some players can ride the pain better than others (eg masked Jaylen Brown), Embiid unfortunately is not that guy.

Let’s see how it all plays out now that the sixers have a better coach. Doc was a mess, and Brett Brown was one dimensional and became so predictable during a 7-game series.

He's playing incredible ball - if he can keep this up for an 82 game season, I'd have no issues giving him the MVP. It would be a far more deserving one than last year. He won't get the "Derrick Rose MVP" talk anymore.

Is he better than last year? Yes. Is he closer to being the rightful MVP than he was last year? Yes. Has he been better than Jokic or SGA so far? I'd say unequivocally no. He's at best a push in box stats and he hasn't shown anywhere near the same impact plus he's missed more time.

Did you just say Embiid hasn’t shown the same impact as Jokic or SGA? Embiid currently has a 79% win percentage in games played this season. His numbers are even more impressive than SGA and JOKIC. Embiid in December is averaging….
41ppg 12.3rpg and 6apg neither Jokic or SGA are currently putting up numbers like that.

He’s missed only 3 games and you say it like hes missed way more games than those guys. And you also fail to mention Embiid has participated in every single Sixers win (15) this season while his team is 0-3 without him.

I agree with the statement that Embiid is not that guy with a mask, he’s worn it twice and struggled badly both times. But if he’s healthy come playoff time I expect him to play like the MVP player he is.
