I grew up watching the NBA in the late 70s and early 80s and fights were sadly commonplace back then. Those were at least face to face, man to man. I mean, there were some rumbles even. This type of stuff Draymond does is not fighting it's just cowardly cheap shots. There's no place for this in the league. If I'm Silver I'm suspending him for 50 games. Next incident he's done for good.

His last incident with Gobert was a least understandable in regards to help inserting himself into the situation (not the choke) but this is just flat out stupid. What the hell is this guy thinking? I 180 degree Falcon punch attempt aiming at Nurkic's face?

If he doesn't get at least 10+ games it's going to be a **** show. I think he deserves 25 like Ja got. There is no turning back and it seems like he has just given up this season along with Klay and Wiggs.

He's completely unhinged and a hazard for the league.

He's always gotten a pass from the league because the Warriors were a cash cow for the NBA, but the incidents keep piling up while Golden State are falling into irrelevance.

I like Draymond but I wouldn't mind it if he were suspended for the remainder of the regular season.

These actions are dangerous, and not isolated.

I have watched this guy purposely poke LBJ in his eye and the refs just give him a foul

Draymond gets away with so much he wants to keep testing the waters

And why wouldn't he? He's made 178M throughout his career and been fined 2.23M playing like a deranged psychopath has been extremely profitable for him

I'm surprised there isn't a bigger reaction from the suns players. If someone knocked one of my teammates down like that I'd at least confront the person that did it. You gotta stand up for your teammates.

Which is wild to me. You can get kicked out of games for saying bad words to refs, so like it seems like he has low tolerance for drama... but... Draymond is doing stuff like this. So I don't really understand where the line is

Forget suspensions, Nurkic should press criminal charges. That is not a basketball play and shouldn't be treated as one just because it happened on basketball court.

And its clear that suspensions and fines won't change his escalating behaviour.

He acts so unhinged. Dude has to be injecting bull elephant nutsack musth juice into himself to try to stay in the league. His testosterone levels are probably 60 times normal right now so he literally has no control over himself. Surprised that he hasn't tried to have sex with a rhino or something.

Anyway, such a crazy play. I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like that. He really could have done some serious damage because he wasn't even looking to see where the punch was going. He has no control over himself. He could have taken out an eye, caused a broken a jaw, or even hit Nurkik in the temple causing a serious head injury. The league must do something. The way he reacts doesn't even make sense. He is like on a different plain of existence.

This is probably the last chance this GSW group has to make a serious playoff run. If Silver comes down and gives him 20 games, the Warriors might as well be looking at exit strategies for a rebuild. This team is getting old. They will not make the playoffs in my opinion because of of the rise of the Thunder, Houston, and Mavericks.

8-10 games effective suspension + 25-30 games conditional suspension. One more act of unsportsmanship will automatically result in 25 games + the judgment for the fact itself at the time. All games without pay.

Maybe he will think about adjusting, or the Warriors make their own conclusions.
