I'm surprised there isn't a bigger reaction from the suns players. If someone knocked one of my teammates down like that I'd at least confront the person that did it. You gotta stand up for your teammates.

There was no build up though. It really came out of the blue. Apart from that the Suns really don't have any enforcers like Haslem, Perkins etc. If CP3 were still on the team, he probably would have done something, but all of those other dudes are essentially nice guys. Even Booker talks trash at times, but comes across as a nice in elimination games.

GSW won 4 titles thanks to Green, any punishment needs to include taking those titles away, taking any awards Kerr and Steph have as well. Do that and suddenly GSW won't be so smug about enabling Draymond. Of course this won't happen. So there is absolutely zero repercussion, they won titles, they all made a bunch of money, Draymond himself never suffers anything, he's the one beating people up.

This also is an excellent message to young people. Do whatever you want and as long as you can "win" by doing it, society has your back. Much better to take liberties, be violent, cheat, whatever else, than to be an honest person that plays by the rules and treats people with respect. Also, beating choking women is perfectly fine if you are a man of success and power. It's only bad if you are a normal person. Not that anyone should be laying their hands on women mind you, but there's a clear discrepancy in how it's judged and treated.

I'm still amazed how much credit people give Draymond. Take him off those teams and they still have 4 titles.

I hate how not liking someone somehow leads to also making up things to invalidate any contributions they might have had.

Draymond was one of the greatest defenders of his era and was a multiple time all-star when GS was at their peak. Draymond can be a terrible person and a KEY part of those GSW championship teams.

Haven't read the whole thread, but thought this was amusing/telling-

I was watching the game on ESPN in Spanish when this happened, commentators were up in arms- Draymond has lost all benefit of the doubt, he's totally out of control, league needs to send a message etc...

Then I see the ref exec getting interviewed so I switch to English, dude gives his explanation of the call, then the English commentators proceed to complain that it's not fair Draymond gets punished for previous actions!!

The contrast was so stark.. not sure who was commenting in English but it did make me wonder if it was the warriors commentators
