Do you think we can make the Eastern Semifinals?

Potential Playoff Opponents would "probably" be:

Pacers
Knicks
Heat
Nets
Cavs
Hawks

Do we beat any of them in a 7 Game Series? I would say:

Pacers- No
Knicks- Yes
Heat- No
Nets- No
Cavs- TOUGH. Yes
Hawks- Yes

I mean, this is super premature, but I’m sure you’re doing this just for fun. I think we could actually take the Pacers, Nets and Cavs would be the toughest for us. Hawks tend to give us problems. I think the Heats experience would prove valuable to our inexperience. But I think they’re all beatable, but so are we.

I think Pacers and Cavs would be the only team we would have a chance, but honestly, I don't know. I don't know if any of the players will show up during the playoffs. They are so inexperienced, the moment might be too much for them. But, I will say, I love that they have been in pressure packed games lately, I think that will go a long way in the playoffs.

This team needs to actually make the playoffs first.

That being said... I can't see them advancing past the first round this season. Regardless where they're positioned.

Unless Paolo this year figures out which team he can personally bully ball. Which I am starting to see from him. I do not see it happening either.

This level of optimism is what I am here for. I'll allow it. Even if it is this early on.

I'm not saying we can or can't. I am looking to see how Paolo takes over games and also how I am re-learning how to spell his name.

Paolo the last 3 games has figured out he has a switch that a lot of teams can't stop or dont have an answer for yet unless the refs decide to swallow their whistle.

He sprained his ankle right as he was starting to get going.

If he continues to do this against Boston the next two games. Then sure.....sky is the limit.

if they make it, every team is one injury away during the playoffs from being eliminated so yes it's possible

Yes I think the Magic "can" make the Eastern Semifinals, in that it is a possible outcome. I do think it is likely though.

In the UK, the current betting odds is about 2:1 in favor of the Magic making the playoffs, with better odds than Indiana, Golden St., New Orleans, Brooklyn, etc.

We are a quarter of the way through, with our easiest portion of the schedule still way ahead of us. I know my thread is pre-mature because injuries can completely de-rail us, BUT being a quarter way through, with a favorable second half of the season, you cant help but be confident we are getting in this year. Of all the teams I listed, Im most afraid of Playoff Miami & Brooklyn

Im not going to answer the question to avoid jinx but I will say this.....

I see a lot of Magic fans fearing Brooklyn, I dont. We are a better team than them. Our 2 losses vs them were during bad breaks in the schedule. I dont look much into those games.
