We're literally a top 10 team according to net rating and win%. We're not a top contender, but we're also not mediocre either. We're a strong 2nd tier team that still needs an MVP-caliber guy.

I don't care who wins.

i don't know!!!!!!!! you get pretty high and low on a night-by-night basis!!!!!!!! i support this even keel approach!!!!!!!!
jokes aside. yes. we are mid. mid is not an insult in our case. mid is a step between trash and champ. it's tough to see through in the moment sometimes, but we remain in good position to grow as we are and strike when the trade food is on the table. i'm at peace with it. no title delusions this season.
also, treadmill is mid for a long time with no way out. we haven't even been mid long enough to be using that term. and it doesn't really apply to teams rife with assets. part of our frustration is having too much mattress money to launder. would be nice to maximize/consolidate soon.
when we do that, we might miss these times and players. just saying.
lastly, what would this board be without "crying about" the things that matter?

RIP magnumt
thanks for everything, thibs.

Yea that net rating and win % is a bit suspect though because the Knicks are getting trounced by .500 teams while blowing out bottom feeders.
Next 10 games coming help will help us see clearer how good or mediocre the Knicks are.

The 3 man weave???
A huge pet peeve of mine is when guys dribble instead of moving the ball immediately when they see the open guy. Ball travels faster than the defense and when we do it, good things happen?

Re: GT: Knicks @ Jazz Wednesday 9 ET.
I thought it was just fans being fans when I saw a Jazz fan put up Lauri in a trade on trade forum.
But Lowe mentioned there's been some buzz around the possibility of him being available since they're not going anywhere. Might be nothing. Might be something. He's a guy I could see OKC pushing some of their chips in for. Still only 26.

Zion here is a perfect, albeit tight -cause he is fat, fit because either he becomes the star we need or he eats himself out of the L and we have endless melo jokes.
I see this as a rare W/W for us.
Make it happen.

mf choosing entertainment on the knicks board even if it means the knicks being stuck in mediocrity
