i was just talking to some friends about the no-dribble break. had been watching some old school highlights when a two-on-one meant a basket due to 2 players literally just passing back and forth in front of a non-committal defender. in middle school we literally ran a drill for it and used it in games. makes me wonder why we stop running that kind of fast break as we get older. ego?

The 3 man weave???

A huge pet peeve of mine is when guys dribble instead of moving the ball immediately when they see the open guy. Ball travels faster than the defense and when we do it, good things happen?

not quite, but totally born of it.

3-on-2 > 2-on-1

Whoever shoots on the 3-on-2 has to get back on defense and try to stop the break. the defenders from the 3-on-2 try to score on the lone defender. the ball ideally doesn't touch the floor on that break.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

if the knicks ever traded randle for zion and zion flamed out, i will be 10x more insufferable. pick your poison. 8-)

I'm more than willing to take that gamble :D

how many years they regurgitate the same thing...who is coming available? And when they do are we going to have the best package?

They are patient and feel no urgency because nothing is there for them to go after.

There’s nobody out there which is very Knicks-y.

Finally have some pieces and nobody wants to leave their team and no team wants to trade any franchise-changing talent.

We are stuck in no man’s land.

Try and find a star in an underrated young player that’s not getting the full attention on his team. Like a Jalen Brunson. Basically let’s just go find another Brunson-esque acquisition because that’s our best bet at this point.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Worth it for the fat jokes

mf choosing entertainment on the knicks board even if it means the knicks being stuck in mediocrity

Let's be real here. The last time we were contenders you weren't even born. We are the definition of mid now with no real hope of being contenders.

Scared money doesn't make money. Trade for Zion either he works out or eats himself into oblivion. by the time that happens we have pick control back and can tank. In the meantime we get to fire off fat jokes.

There is a vision here.

We aren't worthy of that artistry. Would be wasted on such plebs.

Let’s see if the Pistons will give up Ivey.

Any shot at Desmond Bane? Probably not but put a big offer in.

Pelicans have any interest in an Ingram trade? Maybe he gets fed up with being there. Probably would be the best acquisition we can make at this point in terms of youth and talent.

Markannen? Keldon Johnson? Giddey?

What about less notable guys - my guy Tari Eason? De’andre Hunter? Jalen Johnson? Branham? Jaylen Williams? Ousmane Dieng? Agbaji? Nikola Jovic?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

we upscale mid.

We are the most top shelf of mid 8-)
