Does anyone think Dray won't sit in whatever sessions they require him to and say all the right things? He knows how to play that game. He's not getting an extended suspension. This is some weak stuff by the league.

Disagree. He's gone 10 games minimum.

Honestly the Warriors need to deal with this internally.

Not a fan of this "indefinitely" business...Could be 3 games, 5 games, 10 games, 12 games, 15 games, 20 games...what is it?!?!? :banghead:

i gotta be honest i dont... really... understand this. they wanna give Green the time he needs to deal with his issues? What does that mean? Somebody has to be in charge of deciding what the parameters of that are, and when theyve been met. this is just such a strange way to go about this. Itd be one thing if the NBA simply let it be known that he is suspended, but the specific length of time was still being worked out. That would be necessary for notifying the warriors that he wont be available for their next game... but to instead say that setting any kind of timetable isnt important... thats odd.

Wish I could assault someone at work and get counseling instead of being fired

This is another example of how Silver is a better commissioner than Stern. 13 yrs ago the NBA had a somewhat similar problem with Artest. Ron was an excellent player but also a line pusher with a hair trigger temper. He had already been suspended for a season when he nearly decapitated Harden with an elbow that could have been deadly.

Stern gave him 7 games. It made no sense then. If a player had already been suspended a year for violence he had received his last strike. Yet Stern gave him a minor penalty for what could have been a life/career ending injury.

Draymond has been committing violent acts for years and now he gets an indefinite suspension. Hopefully this will send Dray a real message that he needs to cut the bull

Not surprising, they have to make a decision about the final penalty In the meantime.

Hand out a real suspension. Not this "Indefinitely" BS. Make a decision and stand by it and the fallout that will come with it for being too soft or too harsh.

I honestly don't care what they do to Draymond but the inability to come to a clear and concise punishment is pitiful, in my opinion. It's a weak attempt to cater to everyone.

The fact that they're allowing him to practice and not putting an actual number of games on this suspension is ridiculous  might as well let him play the next game. It's unreal the kind of special privileges certain markets get

Go to anger management class, come back act like you're a changed man.

Just suspend him for 20 games without pay. That money will hurt him more than taking a class imo.

He has a long track record. He slapped the hell out of a college kid at Michigan St. I can only imagine what he does behind closed doors…it’s probably some awful stuff tbh.

We know what he does behind close doors after the poole video

Disagree. He's gone 10 games minimum.
Is 10 games supposed to be harsh punishment for his violent actions?? I agree with a previous poster - if the league doesn't address this in a proper matter, the players themselve should take care of him. And then we will have another malice at the palace incident and everyone will be acting surprised. Someone should have leveled Dray a long time ago.

Definitely disagree with you there.

Were they able to deal with it internally when he knocked out Poole ? Didn’t seem to stop his reckless behaviour from getting worse.

At this point other players are at risk of getting assaulted if they go up against him - the NBA is the one that has to guarantee the safety of them. I don’t trust GSW.

The people that think this indicates he is not going to miss many games are legit nuts

This definitely means a double digit game suspension at minimum

I jokingly said in the other thread that Kerr probably hasn't seen it before i saw his interview ....didn't really expect him to use that excuse again. This guy never sees Draymonds antics, is he ever paying attention go the court?

His... coaching or whatever that is has really been getting exposed this season. He's obviously very good at a lot of what the job requires, but, his weaknesses are glaringly bad.

Guaranteed he is. I shouldn't be surprised that people are complaining about this, but I am. The last time a player was suspended indefinitely (Arenas, I believe) he was out for 50 games. He's not gonna be back any time soon, just watch.
