They really need to figure out the offensive rebounding. Just way too many second chance opportunities for Indy.

Feels like one of Marjon or Ajax should be in at all times against young teams like the Pacers, unless the starters are in.

Definitely. Some are just long rebounds from bricks but a lot is being out of position/not boxing out.

AJ Green can't do any of those things at all.

lol what now? no one here thinks AJ Green is any of those things. not one person. and yet, there is a certain zest that emanates from this forum for that man. i have thought about this a lot and have come to the conclusion that AJ Green is, for many forum peeps, the Buck that most resembles what they themselves would look like if they were to somehow find their way onto an nba court. Or more simply, it's the guy they can relate to the most.

This unit really has to play a different kind of defense. The front line really has to use the length to make up for their lack of foot speed. I wonder if they could put in a zone for this unit

Lisa Byington sounded thrilled to point out his toe was on the line on his last shot. Her getting under my skin again might be a sign that things are getting back to normal.

Green had a good game Monday. He deserves some minutes tonight.

After that Portis Beasley breakdown they definitely need to go zone.

Bobby switched and Beas thought it was a good idea to try and switch back onto a dude 15 feet away from him and 2 feet above the arc despite his guy being under the rim. Against one of the best passers in the league.

Don't know if you saw the debate the other day, but supposedly AJ Green is one of our top defenders.

But yes, I think people love him for the reasons you say.....specifically the white and nothing special athletically.

Maybe Dame will get better, but if you hold him to the standard of being an all-time top 75 player. He's been nowhere near that level. He hasn't been bad but looks far from being the superstar we thought we were getting.

At what point did it become normal for NBA players to just not even try to box out?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
