We would have to get in the 4 or 5 spot. So, "can" that happen. Yes. For sure. Will it? I'd give it about a 20% chance by season's end. Possible, but wouldn't bet on it. Still, we are showing fantastic progress and will be on future star's radars now.

I don't think we win a playoff series this year unless we make a big move by the deadline, the lack of shooting and the lack of scoring, specifically from the backcourt is going to keep this team from making any noise.

This is where I'm at. Top 6 and coach is a lock for COY and Paolo/Franz are a top young core all-time. Win a round? Might be the best young core all-time, period.

The territory we are flirting with is truly mind-blowing. A young team should not be this good.

The current 10 seed is Toronto, sporting a losing record.

To make the play-ins it looks like the Magic only need a 50/50 record at season's end. Which is a 25-34 (42% win rate) in the remaining games.

To be in the 6-seed or higher is an interesting race. There is a cluster of teams that are hovering around a 56-59% win rate. So finishing at a 60% win rate nearly assures the Magic at at least the 6-seed.

That is a concluding 49-33 record. Orlando must go 33-26 (56% win rate) to finish in this "guaranteed" playoff-direct position.

If the Magic keep with is current about-70% win rate, Orlando will be a top-4 seed. And could be a 60 win team if some wins fall in to place (example: split the Boston road "series").

I don't even want us to have 1# record. It will just put crazy amount of pressure on them and they will be crushed by media if they lose in first round.

Well: Orlando is the 4th best team in the league after 23 games. ESPN cannot not talk about the Magic and the team needs.

I would argue only team we wouldn't want to face is Brooklyn. Even though they are an average/mediocre team, they just happen to have the perfect roster for guarding our style of play...and they have those annoying streaky scorers. The rest we definitely have a solid chance of beating, although absolutely no guarantee we beat any of them. We are after all still being led by early 20's players.

I think the Heats experience would prove valuable to our inexperience. But I think they’re all beatable, but so are we.

Giving this more thought....

Still say "sure why not".

We have weaknesses that look to be exposed though. We will see how we adjust to that adjustment.
