The Cavs are not a serious basketball team

So the Bucks basically brought the Bulls back from the dead. They were 5-14 entering that game and have won 5 of their last 7

I'd say Cleveland is not a serious city, but feel like you can expand it to Ohio is not a serious state.

The state of Ohio did recently Chernobyl themselves. So you’re not far off.

Has any team with Donovan Mitchell as their best player ever been a serious title contender?

Hear me out. Gsw goes on a huge losing streak, dg is on a 20 game suspension, klay looks washed. Does Steph and the warriors look each other in the eye and say "we had a good faithful marriage, but we both need some strange". Curry gets traded to a contender, warriors shed all the tax money, Kerr replaces pop in the offseason

CP3 still manipulating defenders and getting open 15 footers at age 54
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Popp just signed that new contract after they won the lotto, so i doubt he retires.

The Warriors actually still have two first round picks they can deal right now, as well as another in the offseason. They could probably reconfigure things and make a contender out of Steph and whoever. Steph is so good.

...man that would suck if Steph got dealt to a contender.

Cavs need to fire Bickerstaff before anything gets better. I don't think anyone's ever bought them as a serious contender, but at the same time, there's way too much talent on that roster for them to be this mediocre.

I can see the Hawks shaking things up at some point.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A couple things I noticed about Boston, Jrue is basically playing 36 minutes a night in games that are remotely competitive. The other is that either very early in the season or maybe it was during preseason I said I thought Horford's O/U on minutes this season would be 1600 and he is on page to smash that. HIs MPG is right around where I expected it to be but I thought he'd play somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-65 games while right now he's on pace to play 70-75 games.

I don't think the Jrue part is a big deal, if he struggles in the postseason again I think it'll be for the same reason, bad shot selection and defensive hubris and not losing his legs. But Horford basically fell off a cliff midway through the playoffs last year and he seems to be playing okay thus far this season, but with how many games he's played this season thus far that would worry me about repeating itself.

I'm not right very often, but when I am I become very petty and boastful. You said 1500-1600 not 1600 being O/U. As I predicted, they are going to run Horford into the ground not because they want to but because they have to. One of him or KP will be a non-factor in the playoffs due to an injury or fatigue.

(Let me have this one, please. It's been a long week at work :D )

They went from fun young team on the rise to totally uninspiring. I feel like Mitchell is just Lavine with better PR
