This team is so fun to watch. Could have easily packed it in down 15. Now they have a shot.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bummer ! Really stepped up the defensive intensity in the second half , thought the were going to pull it off . Always root for the state teams until they play the badgers. Marquette looking like a legit team to win it all. Good luck.

Stiff who dominates college. He'll immediately be the slowest guy in the NBA once he entersDaver wrote:Im not a huge college dude but im just curious is that 7'4 300 lb center think his name is edy? is he pro bound like a lottery pick or more of a stiff who dominates in college

He has some skills, 70 percent or so from the line. Dude gets in foul trouble pretty regularly. Lotto picks dont stay in school.

Awesome bounceback performance for Marquette
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

What has Texas done to warrant that ranking? Their best game has been a 1 point win against 4-4 Louisville.

Human rankings are generally dumb.
How did you do last year? (tournament run) or did you add an exciting new player? OK, there's your preseason ranking.
Have you lost recently? OK, that's the current ranking.
North Carolina did this last year. They opened as preseason #1 because of a miracle run through the tournament. KenPom had them like 30th to start the year. Guess which one was right?
Same with Texas due to almost making the Final 4 last year.

the Tommies almost pulled it out, Shaka certainly has a type of team he struggles against.

Re: Marquette basketball
Best move would have been to keep charging the baseline towards Shaka. Shaka either would have not been able to back away fast enough causing a collision or gotten away but gotten so much attention for getting in an opposing player's way that refs would have been watching for that **** the rest of the season.

Re: Marquette basketball
Marquette really has been struggling a bit lately. Their last 5 are
Lost to Seton Hall, beat Creighton by 5, crushed a terrible Georgetown team by 30, lost to Providence by 15, and barely bear St. Thomas by 5
Not awful by any stretch but not exactly what we'd hope for from a team we consider Final 4 contenders
